I am so sorry you are going through this with LogistiCare. They have absolutely no integrity. They are lying to you and you need to take action there is a phone number you can call for any issues you have with LogistiCare. This Complaint HOTLINE was set up by NJ MEDICAID please call 609-631-4641 and speak to Steven Tunney tell him the entire experience you have had with LogistiCare. I know it is not a comfort but just know you are not alone there are so many others out there going through the exact same thing.

I am very sorry to hear what happened to your son, but unfortunately this is a daily thing with Logisiticare. Every day people old and young with physical and mental handicaps are left waiting for their rides to their doctors because Logisticare fails to schedule them with a Medical Transport Provider. I know owners of Medical Transport Companies that have many horrors regarding the unethical and dirty practices of Logisticare. There are Hundreds of ready and able Medical Transport Companies waiting to take your son to the doctor. Old people over 90 years old are left at the doctors office waiting for hours to get picked up, because Logisticare is the most incompetent and unprofessional company in history. Did you know that people have actually died because of Logisticare's incompetence? you can search these stories on the internet and see what horrors they have caused all over the country.
No one wants Logisticare in the state of NJ. Patients are not getting to their doctors, therefore doctors are loosing business. The Medical Transport Companies are going out of business because they are not getting the jobs to drive patients to the doctors. When business's go bankrupt that equals to more unemployment and less business tax revenue for the state, not to mention the people who get screwed the most are the SICK AND THE OLD!

I don't know your situation, but it sounds important he attend. Is the transportation provided by volunteers? If so, you have to take what you can get. Sorry things didn't work out. :(

most paratransit providers overbook their day, and often cannot even handle their light loads due to calloffs, and just plain greed at times.
Best option is to ask the medical clinic that you will be going to for a reliable provider. They know who shows up and who does not. Most if not all will take Medicaid as payment.
