I purchased the MK520 keyboard and mouse and immediately the "unifying" dongle failed to work at all. I messed around with drivers and such for a few days and gave up and emailed Logitech. I got no response so I called. The "tech" asked if the dongle worked on a different PC, so I tested it on my laptop and it worked fine. But I told him I don't need a keyboard or mouse for my laptop because it is a laptop He then "claimed" he will send an email about replacing the obviously defective keyboard and mouse and I said thank you.

2 weeks later I got this email...

Dear Nic,

My name is Erika M., I understand that you would like assistance with your Wireless Combo MK520.

We apologize for the inconvenience, our validation team is not approving the replacement, According to the notes keyboard and mouse are working fine on Windows 8

No need for replacement.

Logitech knows I use WIndows 7 and not Windows 8. In fact I reminded this "Erika M." about that fact and that I didn't need the MK 520 to work on my laptop because it's a laptop. I use Windows 7 in my daily work.

no response!

 So how is YOUR inability to use Win 8 THIER fault?? Its ALWAYS printed on the side of the box which versions of windows the item is used with. Its NOT THIER FAULT that YOU chose to purchase the WRONG KEYBOARD!!!! Its NOT about the warranty because the PRODUCT is NOT FAULTY!!! The only thing that is fault is YOUR ability to understand BASIC information. Why didnt you take this item back to where YOU purchased it from?? THAT would be the correct course of action. NOT whining how YOU cant read and understand information presented to you. Odds are YOU purchased this either used or NOT from a business YOU could return it to. STILL not thier fault. YOU are only a victim of your own choices and YOU want someone else to bail YOU out of the situation YOU have caused.

YOU HAVE NOT BEEN RIPPED OFF!!! If Logitech was smart they would go after YOU for the defamation YOU have posted. Logitech is NOT AT FAULT in this situation yet YOU have posted on a media outlet and PURPOSFULLY misled and misconstrued the truth to make THEM look bad and YOU to look like a better victim. The reality is this is ALL ON YOU!!!! YOU CHOSE to purchase the WRONG keyboard and when Logitech tells YOU they CANNOT help you because the item IS NOT defective, YOU go online and bash a INNOCENT PARTY. YOU HAVE CHOSEN TO LIE ONLINE SO YOU GET TO FACE THE CONSEQUENCES OF DOING SO!!!

Typical self entitled mouthbreather attitude. YOU screw up yet MAGICALLY is NOT your fault. Its ALWAYS someone elses fault when YOU screw up. Grow up and take responsibility for YOUR actions!!!
