Complaint Review: Lombardo Training Stables BREE LOMBARDO BREANNA LOMBARDO - Temecula California

Sadly, I had a bad experience when purchasing my horse as well. He was misrepresented and I was pressured into purchasing quickly. He threw a shoe the day I took him on trial and they wouldn't let me extend it by a day to get him properly vetted. Throwing the shoe made the vet miss a lameness issue and he turned out to be 2 years younger than I was told. When I reached out, I got no return and months later when I was able to connect I was basically told "it happens". I love my horse and he is healthy now, but I wouldn't wish that experience on anyone. I didn't want to blast her on the Internet, but seeing this made me realize I wish I had a warning.

Do not listen to Bre's "sweet" letter! She is a fraud, a liar and a thief! We just experienced an absolutely horrible experience with a pony that was "kid safe" This pony is out of control and crazy. She can't lunge, she rears and throws her head back, is is generally rotten. She too has been treated for ulcers and such. 
Bre is the most unprofessional, immature, dishonest person I think I have ever met. Do not buy or lease any horses from her! Believe me, the kind words that are said about her are not from true buyers. 

This matter has been resolved. I apologize for any disturbance and distress I have caused.

The California Action was instituted because the published statement referenced above is false, were read by third persons and Lombardo Training Stables has suffered damages as a result of the publication of the false statement referenced above.

As a previous client of this trainer, I respect her skills, knowledge and connections in the show jumping world.  I am no longer with this trainer due to a change in riding style, so I have no underlying motive and no gain by writing this rebuttal. 

It is a travesty that one person created two reports to tarnish this womans reputation within the horse industry, and that potential clients would read this report and be turned away from her barn.  She does have a strong background in riding and training, and she has the support of both of her parents who are both well known and respected in the riding community throughout Southern California.  She is starting off on her own and is learning along the way.  Deciding to make a career in the riding world is already a difficult path, and building a reputation for yourself is important.

In my opinion, it shows great cowardice that this person wrote these things online for the public to see, and never confronted her first to give her the chance to fix the situation.  In all honesty, this report actually seems fictitious, the details do not match any previous experience with sales that this trainer has had.  It almost seems as if another trainer was seeking to tarnish her good name in order to win potential clients from her.  I hope that potential clients will take the time to do their own research and visit and take a few lessons with Breanna before making a decision. 

I believe that these accusations are false and that someone is seeking to damage Breannas reputation.  I am sure that what goes around comes around.

I am very sorry you are feeling the way you are feeling. All of these things that you have stated are false and un true. I am a very nice person and I would LOVE to resolve things with you. Is there something that I did to you that you are upset about? All of my clients are happy and LOVE me. All of the kids love me and I work REALLY hard to keep the kids safe while having fun. If i dont touch the horses then why do I work 6 days a week 12 hour days? I ride 10-12 horses a day! My assisent rides the other horses. I do out kids on some of the horses becuase if they are KID SAFE they have to be actually ridden by KIDS. You can understand that right? I have been in the horse world ever sence I was born and I am a 4th generation horse trainer! I have been brought up with alot of education with horses. My father is a Licenced Judge and course designer and has course designed in Germany and for the world cups! He has been in Gran Prix and has a very successful carreer. I have a GREAT reputation, you can ask anyone! All of my horses are fat and healthy. I have a clean bill of health for all horses. The footing at Southern California Equestrian Center (formerly Galway Downs) is AMAZING and there is NO concrete in the box stalls. They hold World cup qualifiers at the facility that I am and Its more than nice. They would not have USEF there if there were rocks in the arena!  The only horses that are skinny are the ones I have rescued! I ALWAYS think of the saftey and well being of others that if why all my kids are safe and I NEVER have any injuries or accidents. Becuase I have been riding my whole life, I have alot of education about horses. My lessons that I give are very educational and My students grow and learn alot from them. If you have such a huge problem PLEASE contact me and stop slandering me on the internet! I have plenty of refrences and people who are happy. Breanna is such a nice person and its just so sad that someone had to trash her this way. Her father, Joe lombardo is a licenced USEF judge and course designer who travels all over the world.He has also competed in Grand Prix and has has a very successful business.  If you ask ANYONE they LOVE Bree and say that she does great business, and has great horse sense. She is a wonderful horse trainer and works really well with the horses. She currently has 25 horses in her barn. If she had such a bad reputation why would people trust her with 25 horses? Bree is very polite to everyone and alwasy treats people with respect. This person who is posting bad things about her needs to come forward and tell her what is the problem.. im sure she would be happy to fix it. The person who is posting these horrible things needs to talk to Bree and not slander her on the internet! Bree is GREAT with kids and all of the kids love her. She has a VERY safe program and is very cautious with children. ALL of her horses are fat and Shiney, they get fed 3 times a day and the stalls get cleaned 2 times a day. There is NO concrete in the barn and the Footing at Galway downs is WONDERFUL. The only horses that are skinny in her barn are the horses that she rescues! Breanna is not going out of the horse world, she is a 4th generation horse trainer! Breannas vet has given every single horse a CLEAN bill of health.
