Complaint Review: LongHorn Concrete Jay R Mayfield Horizon Energy Services of Texas - Woodlands Texas

Jay R Mayfield - Houston tx (The Woodlands) 55 Alderon Woods pl - was fired for stealing over $50,000 from his employer by embezzling and fraud. Mayfield was caught by a customer stealing her credit card info to pay for concrete on a job that was being done across the street at her neighbors house in the woodlands Texas.

The homeowner noticed that the crew had stopped wheelbarrowing the concrete into her backyard and saw the concrete workers wheel barrowing their concrete across the street to the neighbors house..

This alarmed the homeowner and she called the office to find our what was going on. The supervisor was told by Jay Mayfield to send the crew across the street and drop off additional steel, concrete coloring and forms and to have the crew form and pour the job across the street.

The crew had no idea that Jay was actually doing the job on the side and pocketing 100% of the money. The company was paying for labor, materials etc and the homeowner was unknowingly paying with ther credit card since Jay had ordered the concrete using her credit card info that she had entrusted him with for her order.
Once it was found out the Jay Mayfield was embezzling funds an investigation uncovered numerous jobs that he had sold and pocketed 100% of the funds while using the companies material, concrete and work force.

When confronted Jay just hopped into his 1991 isuzu pup pick up truck and sped away, never returning calls or offering an explanation as to why.
The owner of Concrete Forever was shocked that a man (Jay Mayfield) that had claimed to go to Bible study every tuesday night could perpetrate such a vicious and fraudulent criminal plan to steal over $50,000 from the company.

Additionally Jay would turn in fraudulent receipts on materials that CUSTOMERS had purchased and was reimbursed by the company for his fake reciepts. jay would hit the owner up for huindreds of dollars each week on "receipts" that he could never produce and the owner, being a Christian, trusted mayfield because Jay had professed so adamently he was a Christian (knowing that the owner was a Christian).

Jay Mayfield had signed a non-compete agreement with the company before he started his employment and blatantly violated the terms and conditions of the non compete by starting his own concrete company with the very leads that he was entrusted with by the companies sales department....very, very sad.

After Jay Mayfield was fired for theft, grand larceny and Fraud it was also uncovered that he had stolen $10,000 from a customer that had called Concrete Forever for an estimate to complete the "ragged hole that was left in her yard" after the homeowner had given Mayfield a check for over $10,000 as a deposit.

The company has irrefutable proof of each and every criminal violation perpertated by Jay R Mayfield and to thjis day Mayfield posts vicious postings under the name "GigsupL" and several other AKA's on unethical "people bashing" trashy websites such as Judysbook and Insiderpages where anonymous, unmoderated and unverified postings go online at an alarming rate.
