Lookupreport.com LookupVIN A "person" from craigslist claiming to be interested in my vehicle request a vehicle history report and provided me with a link and said that when he purchased the car he would then reimburse me the cost of the report. Prineville OR
Haven't heard from him since. I wish I would've found this website first before I made the mistake of purchasing a report off of this scammer.
I received an email from Steve Penney requesting more information on the vehicle I posted for sale on Craiglist saying he was very interested and wanted more pictures and maintenance records which I then provided him. He also asked me for a copy of a history report. He sent me a link to purchase the report stating it was less expensive than Carfax and that he would reimburse the cost once he purchased the car. I purchased the history report and never heard back from him again. I got ripped off. Don't let this happen to you.
