READ EMAILS BELOW: Ultimately, I refused to have this removed from this public forum because I didn't do anything wrong. Instead, I get a business who went ahead and attempted to defame my business and I think people need to see this, FOR THE RECORD. An attorney suggested that I should sue them for defamation but I don't feel the need to take it that far and of course, I would win. Want REAL reviews? Google me and look at ALL the five star ratings from Wedding Wire - Those are my REAL couples and they're ALL amazing..! I LOVE what I do...! :)

Subject: Rip Off Report
Hi Louis,
I just wanted to give you a heads up, I have been talking with ripoff report trying to remove everything that was said about you and your business. I understand you can 'resolve' issues on the report however, the negative one that was written will always show up first in any search. I guess you could say some ego's were hurt during the wedding we filmed together and I don't agree with how my business went about venting. The worst part is, something this stupid should never be out there to potentially hurt either of our business. I just wanted to let you know that I've been talking with them to get what I said removed in case they contact you for some reason. Hope it helps and sorry for any headaches this may have caused you.

Well I'm really glad you see it my way. Your right about holding a grudge, its dumb. We have a LOT to learn and we will get no where in this business doing things like that, so again I thank you for your understanding... All I've done is e-mail the only address I could find on there [email protected]
and wrote about the whole situation saying it was a misunderstanding and I wanted what was said about Louis Torres Photography to be removed because things that were said were completely untrue. The only e-mail I got back from them was this:
Did they make things right with you?Did they say they would make things right with you ONLY if you had the Report Removed? Did they threaten you with harm or to sue you if you did not have the Report Removed?
I then wrote back yesterday saying again why I wanted it removed and reiterated that NO I wasn't being threatened in anyway I just wanted to make things right and get the report posted off. I haven't heard
anything back yet.
I do hope that can be fixed because the whole thing is BS, that you can't delete what was said. I mean people could go around bad mouthing any business for any reason..makes no legal sense to me. I really appreciate you saying you would do your best to get your report off, although I hope you know that is not the reason I contacted you. I just wanted to fully apologize for myself AND Jeremy. I will keep you updated on any more e-mails I get from them.
Thanks again for your time,
Lauren

Bride: "It sounds like its from the bride and grooms perspective ... But holy crap! That's terrible! I really couldn't imagine anyone feeling that way towards you or your work ... You're awesome!" -HS (Bride)
Groom: "Wow, that's just ridiculous man. Haters are gonna hate. I'm sure for every 100 awesome reviews/praise/complimentary facebook posts, etc.. you'll find one of these jackasses that just wants to hate people they envy. People are just jealous, and have to overexaggerate things for their own gain. Whatever though, we know the truth. Dude's just pissed that you're way cooler and better at your job than he could ever dream to be. No
worries at all man, we know the truth" -ZS (Groom)
H&Z on 8/24/2011 after being told of this false report by wedding videographers who feel like it's okay to defame a business. I'm actually going to file my own report to simply share my own person experience with La Rose Media from Upstate, New York. It'll be all true though and I won't be hiding behind an anonymous name. Funny because there are enough details that they might as well just said it was written by them. Hahahaha...! Funny, I know.

Earlier this year, I captured a beautiful wedding where the videographer brought her fiance who was capturing photos to add to the couple's wedding video. Seemed fine, until he decided to focus his efforts in standing in EVERY shot between ME and the COUPLE. You just had to laugh. At the end of the night, it was so frustrating that I had to get the owner of the venue involved who just said, "if you want me to escort him off my property because he's interrupting you, then you let me know." So, I'm guessing that it was the fiance of the owner of LaRose Media (Wedding Videographers) http://www.larosemedia.com and everything else is clearly untrue. This just makes me laugh, whatever... disgruntled wedding videographers, ya gotta love them. After seeing this, I emailed the bride and groom this morning, to let them read what their wedding videographers posted.
I've seriously NEVER had anyone "fire" me and it's because I'm AMAZINGLY fun, outgoing and LOVE what I do. I'm at the point that if anyone were to tell me that they're planning on hiring LaRose Videography, I will outright refuse to shoot their wedding. It was that bad of an experience with these newbies but you have to take the good with the bad in this business. :)
