Why are you contacting lowe's? Most businesses only accept returns for 30 days. After that they don't care what happens to your product. Your anger is misplaced, even IF they still sold that type of grill they still wouldn't exchange it. You should be angry at the manufacturer. get out the paperwork on your grill and see what the warranty was on it. It could be anywhere from 90 days to a year. From checking similar models it seems that the burners have on average a 3 year warranty on them, and other parts have a 1 year warranty. You need to call the manufacturer and explain to them what occurred. They will be the ones to issue a replacement or refund your money on the grill.
