I got taken by this same guy it sounds like. I was in front of the Emeryville Home Depot, when the Italian Salesman (allegedly) approached me and gave the same story except that he said he was coming from the Nordstrom's Rack and just had completed a training for the staff. He was driving a white JEEP SUV, and claimed it was a rental (had Alamo rental contract in the car and an Italian Passport with Napoli, Italia as his home city. He scammed me for $460 for 6 jackets, and I checked them out thoroughly, they had the certificate of authenticity and made in Italy tags in them . When I rechecked them later, I found one had the Made in China tag that had not been torn out, but it also had the made in Italy tag that looked like it had recently been sewn into the jacket. Kicking myself but this guy was really good , and especially bad sucker because I had lived in Napoli , Italia when I was in the military and he still pulled a fast one over on me......hope he gets caught.....

Two days ago a friend of mine was scammed $650.00 from by the same method, but the car is now a WHITE BMW SUV with no front license plate. Based on the discription of the crook from my friend and from everyone's discription within the Silicon Valley region, I believe I have found him. The reason I am sure is because the location where this incident took place and facts are so simliar. I have found the very same car park from my friend discription near where I live. The reason I am suspicious of that car is because it barely moves and only the back passanger seat windows is tinted so deeply that you cannot see through it from outside.
The crooks currrent CA license plate number is 6MBC166 Currently I am keeping an eye on him. I want to get back at him for robbing my good find and for everyone else he pulled this crap on. Jusctice does exist and this guy needs to be punished.
Please, help me to help you get back what you deserve.
