LTD Commodities Ripoff Shady order shipping process Bannockburn Illinois
LTD's merchandise is generally decent - about what you'd expect from a "mail order" type company; very reasonable prices. HOWEVER, virtually anything you order will be on backorder, often for months. Considering that much of their merchandise is seasonal, this is very annoying.
WHat's really a rip-off is how they ship. You may order 2 or 3 items and invairably at least one is on back order. So what they do is ship each item when it comes in and then charge you a full shipping price for each. Basiclaly, you end up paying more in shipping than for the items.
This has happened to me numerous times with them, to the point I've given up on ordering anything. Now, on the other hand, if you want to order some Spring seasonal items now and get them in November, each for about double the shipping normally charged - they are the place for you.
