Bill Stephan, the Owner and CEO/President of Luxury Cruise Specialists AKA Luxury Vacation Mall has posted a rebuttal to my report and it was not true. I did NOT receive their company services for over one year. I received their services for slightly longer than 1 month only! The credit card company has not declined a request for reversal of payment, but is actually still investigating the company as well as the local district attorney. I signed a contract that said I was not liable for any service fees if I cancelled my membership anytime before 6 months of signing up. I signed up 5/20/2004. I cancelled at the end of June 2004, which is well within that 6 month time frame. I received a confirmation of my cancellation and I was never billed a monthly charge 6 months after signing up. I was never sent any overdue notices either. In early August 2005, the company decided to charge me $450, which they claim was my monthly charge of $50 from December 2004 - August 2005. They kept my credit card number on file and charged it a total of $939, even though the credit card authorization form says I only authorized $489 - I should have disputed this amount right up front too. I questioned as to why I wasen't charged $50 monthly like the contract said (assuming I did not cancel my contract). The company's response was that they tried to charge me $50/month each and every month, except my credit card was declined. I can't believe that they tried charging my card 8 seperate times when I had plenty of available credit line to cover the transaction -- and they say it was declined every time...except in August when they racked up 3 charges for $50, $200, and $200 making a grand total of $450 for August 2005 alone. The company, not me, is trying the old scam of trying to get something for nothing. I am the one who got NOTHING. I have absolutly nothing to show for the $939 they charged me -- NOTHING. After the mandatory training fees, I am out $999 exactly -- with nothing to show for it. This company is PURE EVIL.

This customer received our company services for over one year and then decided he didn't want to pay for it. He's using this site to try and extort a refund. He signed a contract and initialed the "No-Refund of Service Fees" clause. Its the old scam of trying to get something for nothing. The credit card company has declined his request for reversal of payment as the legitimate charges for our services have been validated and documented.
