Lyman Ward Military Academy Exposed Camp Hill Alabama
My Son was Viciously attacked by 7 cadets in March of 2014. He suffered a broken leg,and had numerous facial fractures in his face. Also he was brutally beaten all over his body. He was in the hospital for 3 weeks until he Physicaly recovered. My son is still emotionally scarred from the attack and the school refused to pay for his medical bills. I did sue the school and got them to pay medical costs and for emotional damage to my son. But I would not recommend sending your child to this school. It's a corrupt environment with no accountability and there website and facebook page are full of lies. All negative stuff is deleted and presents a false image of the school. There is a Facebook page out on the school called Lyman Ward Military Academy Exposed. The page details graphic sexual and physical abuse from staff as well as students.

The fact that you wanna cover up what happened to my son is wrong and you lie saying it never happened and you use someone's name that went to this school 17 years ago that has nothing to do with what happened with what my child went thru. This did happen and your school is corrupt and wrong. Google the abuse online and see what all pops up. There are dozens of reports and lawsuits and complaints with this so called military school that uses manipulative marketing tactics to lure parents into their trap. Your school is nothing like what you all say it is online or on the phone! Please do not send your child here as it will only make a bad situation worse!

This incident did not happen. Do not beleive an anonymous post like this. Also the Facebook Page Lyman Ward Military Academy is a Farce. The man behind the page was kicked out of the after only being here for 2 weeks in 1999. Since his expulsion he has been sentenced to prison twice and is banned from most of the state of Georgia. Here is an Article about him. Lyman Ward Military Academy has been helping young men since 1898.
