I never seen more disreguard for the law in all of my life. first let me explain where and when the problems started. I called a car dealer I had looked at there cars previously and the sales man his name was steve wayne told me i was approved and i could come and pick up my car sight unseen he picked it out for me.

I drove 240 miles to the dealer very excited I have never owned a new car before and I was over come with the idea of owning a new car of my own. this i where all of the law breaking came in. first the salesman showed me the car a 2001 nisssan ultimia it had only 15,000 miles i fell in love with it.

They led me into the "finance room" to the fincance man (BOB). Bob had me sign 3 different loans from 3 different lenders when i asked him why he explained i was approved with all 3 and he would make sure i got the best deal. then bob the finance man told me i had to have credit life insurance i again ask why? because it was very expensive $1400 dollars.

Bob explained it was a requirement of the STATE OF TEXAS. so i did as he asked only thinking about my shiney new car and i trusted them completly (how could this company who went out of there way to call and approve me be dishonest?) so with a smile and a hand shake i gave them to keys to my old car and the car sales man steve wayne took the tags off my old car and put them on my new car and with the keys ot my new car i drove away enjoying it all the way back home 250 miles away.

on the way home i realized i did not get any paperwork nothing i signed no dealer tag nothing. the next morning i called Bob the finance man and asked for a copy of my paper work he said " its in the mail" i called the STATE OF TEXAS finance comission and ask why I was required to carry CREDIT LIFE.

They informed me it was not true. I could not believe i was lied to. so I called and asked for Bob he would not talk to me so I called the Credit life people and demanded that they take it off.

I still have not been able to get my account credited. then i received a payment book for household finance the ammount financed was $19000.00 I was dumb founded. so i called the cardealer back and demanded my orginal paper work for all 3 loans companys.

The dealer explained that they had FIRED BOB. I could care less all i wanted was my tags on my car and the finance papers to see why i owe so much.

I just received only one of the signed loan papers the Household finance papers 3 mos later and the $1400 credit life they claim they sent it then 1 mo later they said it was lost in the mail and they mailed another check on the 18th of december it has not been received either.

In closing of this letter i would like to say car deals or any dealing in finance should be regulated and taken advantage of someone is not right or fair. disclosure laws must be enforced.

What happened to you is standard for El Paso dealers unfortunately. I traded in a pickup at Expressway Ford. Terms were actually great and paperwork looked fine. I was called back at a later time to say that the financing did not go through (despite my 65k a year salary and good credit) and that I had to go back and redo another contract (for more $$ or higher interest rate). They already had my old truck in their possesion and I was left in a situathion where I had to pay two car loans. My original truck, and the new one. I got my truck back but the CD changer was removed and replaced with a cassete tape deck. During all this, they too said that the finance point man was fired. I was never able to get back my CD player and was treated badly. I knew exactly what they were up to and have been successful in stearing away several ford customers away from expressway ford. I now live in Mississippi and was not able to stay and fight for my CD player.
