What happened to you is standard for El Paso dealers unfortunately. I traded in a pickup at Expressway Ford. Terms were actually great and paperwork looked fine. I was called back at a later time to say that the financing did not go through (despite my 65k a year salary and good credit) and that I had to go back and redo another contract (for more $$ or higher interest rate). They already had my old truck in their possesion and I was left in a situathion where I had to pay two car loans. My original truck, and the new one. I got my truck back but the CD changer was removed and replaced with a cassete tape deck. During all this, they too said that the finance point man was fired. I was never able to get back my CD player and was treated badly. I knew exactly what they were up to and have been successful in stearing away several ford customers away from expressway ford. I now live in Mississippi and was not able to stay and fight for my CD player.
