Macy's: you should be ashamed to sell (with a straight face) the Worry-no-more warranty serviced by Uniters NA, LLC out of West Palm Beach Florida.

This is a scam that you are facilitating and you are party to the rip-off so consumers.  This must be stopped.  

This is very surprising and disappointing that you would associate your brand with scams such as this.

I have called your customer service and was transferred back to Uniters which is careless, helpless, and the problem.  

Boycott Macy's! Boycott anything associated with the worry-no-more warranty program by Uniters as it will become a worry-more program.  

Next stop:  CONSUMER AFFAIRS OF NJ !  This scam must be stopped

I happen to know that Uniters does handle the warranty end of the Worry no More program for Macy's and several other retailers.  They have one of the most comprehensive and professional coverage plans that I have seen with the warranty coverage underwritten by several major insurance companies.  This is a case of Macy's outsourcing their warranty coverage but there is no rip off here.  Both Macy's and Uniters are upstanding companies and given the chance, they would likely help you resolve your warranty issues.

Don't be so quick to judge a book by it's cover.

Interestingly that I have received a call from Macy's that the umbrella for the patio set will be replaced.  

I will update the report again once I actually receive the replacement.

 Denying YOUR claim is NOT a ripoff!!! It just means that the warranty that YOU purchased DOES NOT cover the issue YOU are complaining about. YOU should ALWAYS read your warranty FULLY before you buy one. This way YOU are fully informed as to EXACTLY what YOUR warranty will take care of. What YOU are doing is called defamation!! YOU have gone on a media outlet such as the web, YOU have given NO INDICATION of an ACTUAL issue, and YOU have done NOTHING in your post but bash them by putting YOUR OPINIONS out there as FACT!!! All three of those are an act that can get YOU sued!!! Ask yourself a very valid question here. Can YOU afford to sustain a prolonged legal battle?? If you cant then what YOU are doing is COSTLY!!! The AVERAGE price for a defamation suit starts at $25,000.00!!! YOU seem to think YOUR first amendment rights superceed anothers, and that is just NOT the case. YOU CANNOT present YOUR opinions as FACT on a media outlet. THIS SITE IS NOT FACEBOOK!!!! THAT is social media where you are allowed to speak your mind. THIS SITE is for consumers who have ACTUALLY been ripped off and NOT just denied on a warranty claim.

 But its YOUR life, So in the end YOU have to answer for YOUR actions and words. YOU are NOT safe OR anonymous online. EVERYTHING you do is logged!! Since YOU are obviously not smart enough to see when YOU are hurting yourself, YOU wouldnt be smart enough to cover your tracks online. With very little work this company YOU have defamed can prove YOU wrote that post. YOU also are on a online campaign to cause them distress in thier business, that is ilegal as well. YOU are ACTIVLY out to cause them damage, THAT is ilegal as well. Its one thing to make a complaint, its another thing all together what YOU are doing.
