Mada Insurance Ltd. Adopting Puppy, Non Stop Payments. Turns Into A Scam, Paying Nearly 1000 All Together!! i payed up to 1000, and still to this day they are asking for more money to get our 10,000 compensation for my dog dying on journey to me! Douala, Cameroon
hi, my name is lauren,
1 week ago i found this beautiful pug puppy, fell in love with it. it was an adopting agency, and all i would have to pay for was shipping fees, which was 150. was happy to pay this. payed through pay pal. then had a comfirmation email saying that the dog would be with be shortly. attached to the email, was all the flight details, tracking no's etc.
The next day i have an email stating that i needed to pay 640 for the dogs insurance and vaccines, i refused to pay this. and comprimised with the seller for him to pay for the insurance, and me to pay for the vaccines. which ment i was then paying a total of 230. which was all refundable, upon delivery.
The payment was confirmed and more details were sent to me regarding the tracking of the puppy.
Then the same day i recieve an email saying the dog is in Norwich pet control, in airport. and for the dog to go anywhere certificate needed to be made, which ment paying an extra 150 for the certicates. which again was refundable at door step, upon delivery.PAYED.
The dog was then expected to arrive 6:30pm that night. 8pm came, still no dog. rang director and he advised that they are on there way. phone him every half an hour, he still stated that theyre on there way. 10:30pm came, i phoned him and he said it was to late for them to deliver so they the courier will stay in hotel over night. not happy.
9:30 am arrived and recieved a phone call from director stating that the puppy of 11 weeks old, had slept on van overnight (in freezing cold) and died. so i had therefore payed 530 for nothing.
the case was then taken to mada insurance. They drew up a contract for me to get my refunds and compensation for the dog. which meant me getting nearly 10,000.
we read through all the contract, signed even attached a photocopy of my driving license which they requested.
as all these payments were being payed through Money gram, they refund and compensation must come through money gram as well. we were then told that we had to pay the transfer charges for payment which was 1300. I REFUSED! the seller payed most, and i payed 90!
HANS DERRICK the insurance director confirmed everything. we were the given the ref no's for the money gram to go and collect the money. the next day we received another email stating that the Ministry of Foriegn Affairs had stopped the transaction, as the insurance company had avoided paying the taxes on the transaction, so we then were asked to pay 750 to get it certified by the commerce. seller payed 310. i still refused. the insurance director offered to pay 200. left me with 140 to pay. I PAYED IT!
On 17/08/08. i found a ripoff reort regarding the same insurance company.
Then they asked me to pay another 230 for a pass code to release the money gram ref no's. as i found out this. i refused to pay it, i threatened to phone the police. told them im going to sew there insurance company. now the insurance director is offering to pay 150, and leave me with 230 to pay! im still refusing!
These people are heartless men! they make me sick, and quite frankily i hope the rot in h*ll! i am going to the police, and have already seeked advice from lawyers. and i am not going to leave a stone unturned until i see them in court! this time they have messed with the wrong person.
They have taken upto 1000 from me and i WILL be getting it back!
PLEASE BE CAREFUL WITH THESE PEOPLE. TO BE FAIR, THEY ARE VERY SMART. BUT SHOULD LEARN PROPER ENGLISH BEFORE STARTING A FRAUD INSURANCE COMPANY.
