I bought a puppy 8 months ago for 1500.00 I was told she was registered with the CKC. The day i went to pick up my puppy the breeder told me that all my paper work would come in the mail within 3-6 weeks. we brought our special little girl home, we could have never been happier, then she started to sound very congested, I wrote my breeder so that she would be aware of this and ask for some help.. she wanted me to give back my puppy, so i went through with the surgary and spaid.. which was fine.. couple months later my puppy got a lump on her chest with in 5 days it was huge.. then she got one on her shoulder the next thing i new with in a week or to she had 30-35 lumps wasn't eating drinking. So i took her to the Vet, the vet told me that there is nothing that could been done, He was surprised she lived past 4 months.. she was full of cancer. so we brought her home and spent a week with her and made her comfortable, contacted the breeder over and over again, she gave out my personal information to another breeder changed her website. They sent me rude and uncaring emails. here are some quotes that they said to me."there is nothing i can help you with" they also wrote if i cannot financialy take care of my dog i should have never bought one in the first place! well i paid 1500 for her another 900.00 for her nose surgery adn spay her needles. I am more capiable of looking after my dog. then i get an email from some strange breeder that deals with her and he states quote "let me start first by saying (Breeder name) should have told you that you were NOT buying a CKC bulldog but instead a canadian trademark line of bulldogs called the dhomhnuill style bulldog" so i was lied to over and over again, not only did i have a sick dog that we loved with all our hearts we had to put her to sleep..
Now there is two young people with broken hearts no questions answered. this was our first puppy, we have no kids! she was our baby.. we loved her so much..
