I am really embarrassed to say that I bought one of Madeline Nugents books. Here is what I found out later...AFTER I WASTED MY MONEY! It seems that there is a whole scam going on in the publishing industry. With the popularity of Amazon and Barnes and Noble anyone can put their book up there. All they have to do is make up a fake publishers name. So lets say Donna's Publishing. Sounds like a good name. Now they take the book down to the copy shop and make copies. Then they build a cheesy Website and sell the books on Amazon. Here is the problem, the reason that these books are really self published is that they are not any good. The content is horrible, the grammar is juvenile and the style horrible. Most content is just copied from other books. The buying public does not know this, because the authors have their friends write fake reviews for them. So the consumer thinks they are getting a good book from a real publisher, with good reviews. It is all a hoax. A scam to make a quick buck at the expense of you my friend.So do not fall for it! What makes it all worse is that these quick buck artists often target religious folk because they are gullible. It is bunk!
