Almost sounds like you did not read your policy or understand it. I do not work for Mega or Healthmarkets but have 4 years in the health insurance industry experience. I find that people are "to busy" to read their policies. It is a contract and you are entering into a contract. Make sure you understand what your getting. All health insurance (that i know of and sold) had networks, some more restrictive than others, and Doctor visits are covered in riders not a general right of having the insurance. Looking at your complaint too looks like you got a discounted policy with minimal coverage. Cheapest is not always the best and you get what you pay for. Note: I am a laid off insurance representative and I feel that the individual is responsible for not knowing what they are getting.
