Well, the whole not working on dial up is sort of your fault. Magic crap is VOIP, and dial up doesn't handle OIP(voice over internet protocol). If you already have a phone line that you have to use for internet, all your local calls should be included, and you can use something like skype to make your long distance calls. I hope you weren't thinking you could use the magic jack to connect to te internet O.o and I'm pretty sure on any "minimum requirements" listing for it, it states that it requires a broadband connection. However, as for them over charging you, this seems tobe a problem from what I've read. They seem to like charging people for more than they ordered, and then taking their sweet time to refund (45_ days, which means your already paying interest on it, so they should cover that as well, but they probably don't) that sucks that they didn't even check their email, though you should have called your cc company right away and told them that you did not authorize 213 to be deducted, and that if magc jack tried to charge that much, it eoulf br fraud. I hope your message helps at least 1 person realize magic jack sucks, and as far as voip goes tere are better, cheaper services. (by the way, even $40 is wayyy too high a price for what their selling, the magic jack itself. you can pick up an USB to RJ11 converter for 20 - 30$ most other places. Skype sells one for 29.99 and is much better than magic jack. Cheaper too I believe not positive on that one though.
