Fraud!



Did not make the charge.  Called number on credit card and is bad number 561 594 2140.. recording tells you to go to their website (like EVERYONE has a COMPUTER - not my 87 year old mother they charged this to).  Got good number from my ccard company 281 404 1551 and explained to MagicJack she was charged for TWO on consecutive days.  They came back saying WRONG Name and sorry you were charged for TWO! I said I am not Johnson and they asked if i was Johnson in Florida!  So they have done it to (are doing it to) others too??!!!!  No I am Walker in Texas... HOLD AGAIN... finally asked for supervisor and stayed on hold for over 40 mintues.



Called credit card company and two days later ONE charge was taken off... they asked me to wait 15 days to see if the other would be taken off.



I did not wait and went OnLine chat with MagicJack on their website.....



Here is the copy of the chat.. you tell me if they are idiots or not?  and if you are an attorney looking for a class action suit... what do they make on $% in banks of money they have of mine (and untold others) while sitting in a bank for over 30 days while they play with it and string innocent people along.. to make that $%????

Jeanette Walker: i told the CC company this morning that we did not make this charge and we made an error in thinkng it was a hearing aide.

Jeanette Walker: my mother does not have a computer.. she does not use long distance.. we think this may be NEW FRAUD.. and i am having to do all of the fraud for her.

I will turn it over to fraud with the detective handling our case and to Discover .. BBB and state of texas... thank you...

Jeanette Walker: take the charges off the card and give me a good number for the police to call so they can get the information on who made these charges and what address they gave you.

This just sounds like you are the victim of credit card fraud..  Doesn't sound like a problem with magic jack..

thank you for the phone#of these mj thieves i cant get it.but they had no problem double charging my acct. and i tried to cancel the second  saw i was getting charged for a free 30 day trial.cant get any response from them.checked bank acct.not only was i charged instantly but double.it was to late for bank.now im short because they said no charge till day31
