MagicJack provides only a chat function for Customer Service - No other way to contact them. 

The operators work on many calls simultaneously and therefore every "transaction" takes incredibly long.  When you compound this by the lack of knowledge of the reps, simple problems take forever to resolve.  I was "escalated to it's "top 10%" agents, who after requesting time to review the previous conversation, then proceeded to ask me to repeat the same tasks that had already failed!  After wasting over 30 minutes with this level, I was again escalated to their 3rd level support who was just as useless.  Not only did they ask me to repeat many of the same failed efforts previously made, they continued to serve multiple clients dragging out the chat even further! 

I was particularly disturbed by request to make changes to my computer's settings, including adding additional ports.

I should state that my call was the result of not being able to get a dialtone.  I have other magicjacks which were working fine.  The problem began a few hours before my call.  At no point in the 2 years that these were operating on this computer with all the same settings have I ever had a problem, so I was extremely reluctant to make changes to my system.  Especially when they couldn't give me any reason for making them!

The problem continues and I will transfer the problem # to another phone service.
