The MagicJack Infomercial snagged me, their site boasts of many cudos from reliable, trusted Agencies and Magazines, but nowhere can a land based address or phone number be found. This should've been a really big Red Flag, but I didn't see it waving in my face.

I truly empathise with the "ordinary Father/Family man" Inventor depicted in their video. At this writing do not know if this gadget works. I assume it does as they have been on TV for more than a year now. If it didn't, an avalanche of complaints would've done them in. That's not the issue here.

The issue here is that once I got to the order page, I decided I wanted only one, not two, while simultaneously, I noticed there was no way to cancel or change my order then, suddenly, the page took control and completed my order without my submitting it via "submit" icon and moreover took more than $96.00 from my debit account. In fairness, I did eventually get all my money back but I had to "refuse" the product when it arrived via UPS, then wait until the Company got it back before they would release my funds. The whole process took more than a month.

In my heart, I believe this inexperienced "Inventor" has hit the Motherload, but has also fallen prey to "Shady" Website Consultants. I recommend that if anyone is interested in purchasing this device, they call the Telephone number offered during their Infomercial and place their order through another Human Being to avoid just that which had happened to me.

It is unfortunately about you website experience with magicjack. I ordered 1 for my mom and 4 months later bought one for myself and didn't have a problem either time. Although you had a bad site experience, I am glad to see that you like the product. I absolutley love mine. I do miss not having a recording telling me that the number is no longer in service or a busy signal, but I do like saving $600.00 dollars a year for the next 5 years. I am sure the inventor is working on the 2 problems and I hope this will be resolved in the near future. It would be nice to have those 2 features back.
