Majestic Benefits MAJOR RIPOFF BE LEARY Champlain New York
Do not authorize this company to deduct $299 from your bank account! Majestic Benefits called me out of the blue saying I had applied for credit and I was turned down and that it states on the credit card application that my information would be passed on to a 3rd party such as them.
They say I can get $5,000 credit limit if I just pay one time fee of $299 and I will never be charged another annual fee or any monthly fees. Well hell this sounded way to good to be true! And I am glad I was suspicious as I always am of things that are too good to be true, because they usually are! I asked all kinds of questions, I even asked that they send me information on their company and the lady who only gave a first name "Katie" told me they don't send information, then when I told her I had to think about it and talk it over with my wife, and was there a number I can call her back at, she said I get a ton of calls so not one set number. She said she would call me back. I told her I didn't have the $299 then she said she would call back in a week.
Well needless to say I never gave this lady my transit routing number or my bank account number, and I am so glad I didn't! Thank you all for your reports you filed, I looked it up on the Internet and found all of these, and when she called back today to get my bank info, I told her my wife and I decided against it. I am sure it may not be the last time I hear from them, a different representative may call me, and if they do I am going to tell them I will report them to the police for harrassment if the call me again!
I hope all of you get your money back and put them out of business and if there is anything I can do to help let me know. It is a shame they pray on people like this and give them false hopes. I have to admit "Katie" was good a good saleswoman, really polite to try to get me to do it, and reassured me that yes we get a lot who are concerned. She was good, but I was just a bit better finding out about their SCAM!
