Majestic Benefits ripoff, total scam, offered credit card but got nothing Champlain New York
They called my girlfriend's cell phone telling her that they were one of the credit cards she had applied too and that if she paid a one time fee of $299 she could get a $5000 credit line on a Mastercard. They also stated they would send out papers for her to sign so they could withdraw the money directly out of our bank account.
Not knowing any better she gave them her information (not the SSN thank goodness) and the bank account information. After a few weeks no paper work and then the $299 was attempted to be taken out of the bank account but cause it was the weekend nothing could be done but thankfully the bank refused the withdraw cause it made us overdraft too badly or something.
We thought it was over but then a month later (this past friday June 3rd) it was taken out again but this time it went thru, causing us to overdraft by nearly $250 plus the fee ($32). I went to the bank to see what they could do and they told me they would look into it but in the mean time I would be responsiable for any and all charges on the account even later. So the next day some more charges that were from previous purchase we had made came out and caused more fees and now we are over $400 in the hole. And what seems to be no way out. Someone please start a class action suit against this company and count all of us that have posted in on it. This company needs to go down. They are even listed on the BBB's web site as a bad company.

I to was ripped off. I did file a complaint with the BBB. It is on file for the next 3 yrs. This was back in May. I also called my state attorney generals office. They sent me papers to fill out and they got my money back. They told them that if anybody asked for the money back, they always sent it back. In the middle of June, I got my money back. I called my back after I got the letter from my state attorney general. Dont give up. Call and file complaints. The BBB website is [email protected] File out their questions and you will get a response within a month.
