Majestic Benefits ripoff Champlaine New York
I got a phone and they asked for my husband, well he wasnt home from work yet so the guy called back later. He told my husband that we were approved for a $5,000 PROVIDIAN MASTERCARD. He needed our checking account information. So my husband told the guy he needed to talk to me. I asked him what type of card it was, how much it was approved for and stupid me gave him all the information he needed.
We got our package 30 days later and to my suprise it wasnt what we expected. I read everything and it said store value credit card which meant, we had to put money on the card after we sent in our $39.95 processing fee. I called them back and the girl said that I could send it back and they would let me know what my confirmation said. Well, Ill tell you what it said and it said nothing about a store value credit card, the idiot guy said "A $5,000 PRE-APPROVED PROVIDIAN MASTERCARD". I kept asking the guy and I got the same response.
Today I contacted the WV Attorney Generals office and I am going to let them handle it. I am also calling the NY Attorney Generals Office. I want something done about these companies. I should have known it was to good to be true.
