This store is not going out of business but is using it's sales tactic to deceive people into thinking it IS going out of business or having dealer only sale.
The signs 60% off have been there for 6 months to a year now. The prices on the merchandise do not reflect any kind of sale. The owner is simply using these signs to get you in the door then try to rip you off. Most of the items in the store are NOT antique but reproductions that the owner is trying to sell as antique. The prices are ridiculous and the products are the same you can buy at any of the stores downtown as well as EBAY and Overstock for one tenth the price. This store is truly a RIP OFF! DO YOURSELF A FAVOR AND DO NOT SHOP AT THIS STORE!
All the stores in Jefferson street are owned by the same owner and all of them use the same scams to rip you off big time. I did some research on the stores and look what i found:

SAN FRANCISCO (AP) - A string of antique stores were busted Thursday for allegedly hiring dozens of illegal immigrants, selling fake pieces and engaging in the black market ivory trade, federal authorities said.
During searches of 11 locations, agents arrested 29 foreign nationals from Israel, Mexico, China and South America on immigration violations, said Virginia Kice, spokeswoman for U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement.
The investigation involved more than 150 agents from ICE, Federal Bureau of Investigation, Internal Revenue Service and U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service, which was looking into whether the businesses illegally imported and sold ivory and ivory products. Agents also were investigating allegations of money laundering and mail and wire fraud.
No other arrests or charges have been filed in the case, and authorities have not officially named anyone under investigation.
The searches were carried out at Regal Collection, Lloyd's Fine Art and Jewelry, Gallery De Bellagio, Windsor House, Buckingham Palace, Gioia Fine Art, King's Fine
Arts and Antiques and its showroom - all located in the city's tourist centers of Fisherman's Wharf and Union Square. Two warehouses, a business office and a home also were searched.

We take pride in our customer relationships and try to resolve any and all issues that a customer has with their purchase. That being said, we would like a chance to address the allegations in the negative complaint against Majestic Collection. For one, we are not affiliated in any way whatsoever with the companies that are named in the article the reviewer found after her “investigation”. Secondly, there are several different companies that own art galleries in the Fisherman’s Wharf area.
Thirdly, we offer a variety of items such as one of a kind artwork, quality home furnishings, Lladro, and home décor that cannot be found online, and not for less. Because we also deal in antiques, you can of course find individuals selling their antiques on Ebay and some items such as Lladro and furniture can be found on the internet – however we are extremely competitive in our prices. It is unfortunate that this customer was so dissatisfied with our gallery and we would like to offer to work directly with the customer in order to resolve all issues she has. We take pride in our customer relationships and our high quality of products and hope to hear from her.
