This company treats employees like property (chattel). Considering they are a paid by client recruiting company it is almost hard to believe that over 25 plus years they have consistently intimated, demoralized, harassed, and destroyed the professional reputations of employees who have dared to leave them or succeed without them.
They make employees who are in vulnerable positions feel that the only success they have is due to the companies intercession and that if they dare to leave or aspire to something better they have betrayed the company. The use a pattern of threatening lawsuits, byzantine none competes, bullying, lying, calling professional contacts and accusing former employees of deception and dishonest practices.
They believe that when they lay off employees, that means that they are still paying those employees via the state unemployment fund and that those employees are still obligated to report in and work for them just as though they were still on the payroll. If an employee dares to challenge that assertion they use implied threats that will lead the employee to believe that they will report that employee to unemployment for refusing to accept offered work.
They are the living embodiment of the old adage "you will never work in this town again" since their aim is once you leave them you will never be gainfully employed in anything beyond menial low paid work for the rest of your career.
This is based on hearsay however it should also be noted that their financial and book keeping practices appear to be questionable. Several past emlpoyees have commented that it is amazing that they have manages to stay under the radar of the IRS.
The best advice one could take about this company is if they are hiring.....STAY AWAY

This rebuttal to a posting about Management Recruiters Pittsburgh North Inc . This is an obvious ex-employee who would stoop to write false statements regarding this office. I was an employed with them for over 15years and never did they treat their employees as "slaves". They approached individuals as professionals, while providing a safe, kind and professional environment. They were competitive in compensation, and benefits. They always strived to create an atmosphere that was focused, and driven for results. This in turn gave me and my family a wonderful balanced life style. I believe in the right to speak your mind, however not when it jeopardizes the integrity of the people who have worked there or are in management. This is a totally false and inaccurate picture of this company.

It sounds to me like a disgruntled employee here. It is sad that someone can say these unfounded things without any recourse. If Management Recruiters of Pittsburgh-North is
such a bad organization why did so many people stay for such a long time? In an industry that suffers for a lot of turnover. This information is slanderous and if I were the owners or management of this
company I would sue for slander. This company and their management provided
exceptional training, support, collaboration. It is a professional environment and gave anyone the opportunity to be successful. They were fair with a base compensation, uncapped commission, extra incentives and paid for 100% of your health care etc.
