I purchased a sink for $320 online from ManhattanInteriordesigns.com on November 15.,2010. The sink was too big when it was delivered so I returned it via UPS. Apparently, the owner of the company, Tamara, did not want to give me my money back so she told UPS they damaged it and they needed to pay for it. They told me I would receive my money back within 24-48 hours on my credit card. Needlessto say I never got my money back. I have called multiple times and multiple times I was told by Ellen and Tamara, the owner, that they would refund my money. Still nothing. It has been 45 days and now the owner wont take my calls. She even emailed me and said she would refund my money. That was 3 weeks ago. Still nothing. They are not only ripping me off by not refunding my money, they are also ripping off UPS by trying to get them to pay for the sink that I returned to them by saying UPS damaged it. They pulled a double rip off and should be ashamed of themselves. I WANT MY MONEY BACK. I am a single mother with 2 small children and I WANT MY MONEY BACK.
Today is Dec. 29th, and still nothing.

Catherine Daniels of Boca Raton Florida, this is customer service department of Manhattan Interior Designs. In response to your report, we respond accordingly: The first notification we had after receipt of your order, was a couple of weeks after you had accepted delivery of your Stainless Steel Farmhouse Sink. The call from you stating that your sink had been damaged in shipping, but you inquired if the sink could be undermounted, that you felt that the damage would not show if undermounted. You stated you were going to keep the sink if this was the case. Then weeks later another call from you, saying you wanted to report the damage to your sink, but insisted we file the claim and you would not. We agreed to do so for you. UPS came to your home and inspected the sink. We received a report back fromUPS deniying the claim stating that the damge to the sink did not occur during shipping. We deligently pursued your claim, and after some time were able to get them to approve the damage claim. In this report is the first time you have stated you "just wanted to return your sink" due to size. There was never a request for a return authorazation number or return instructions. The sink has not been returned, it was picked up by UPS when inspected and they still have it. To date they still have not paid the claim, although we have processed your refund to your credit card. We are sorry the process has taken a small amount of time. Please let us know if you need any additional assistance.
