Complaint Review: MAP Staffing Solutions Group LLC - New York New York

Michael Pugliese the owner aproached me to come work at his company in November of 2015 right before I was leaving for Florida. It weas actually his girlfreinds idea to have me work for Michael. I agreed to give it a shot. He agreed to pay me 3000 a month. He also agreed to pay me a specific commission on each account i brought in. Things were going well until a rumor about me coming into personal money surfaced and I started to mention I would be returning to NC to be with my children and work remotely.

The idea of me returning to NC made Michael agitated. He and his girlfreind began to obbsessively insist I move to New Jersey where she lived. It was nothing less than strange. After continuos pushing I mentioned again I would eventually return to NC to be with my kids.

After this I began to not get paid anything for a travel day sick day which was not the agreement. Than on a Thursday morning in August Michael called and we had a calm disagreement about how things were going and he decided that I should no longer work there and I did not argue. He told me to come back in the moning to pick up my commission and pay.

I was owed 40% of out last deal $21,000 which is $8,400 and the pay for Monday tuesday and Wednesday. $150 a day. Total $8,850. I came to work at normal time Friday to pick up my money and shake hands and Michael finally calls in 3 hours later and apolagises and says he is on his way. He than calls 2 hours later and asks me if it I would mind if he went for a hair cut first uptown. He shows up at 5PM and begins to degrade my preformance and instigate and arguement. I would not give it to him. Than he says that he is not going to pay me for the days worked because in his opinion I did not get anything done. So now I have been at the office 5 days and deserve nothing for this.

Than when he calculates the commission he tells me that he is only giving me 30% 6,300 because he is going to give Peter Oneil my co worker 30% as well even though he had nothing to do with the account. His reason was because Peter did a lot of other things for me over the 10 months of employment. I was still not going to give him an arguement. He said he was only going to give me portion of the $6,300 because he did not receive it fromn the client which in black and white terms in fine. I thanked him and walked out.

When I spoke to Michael on September 9th he told me to come to the office on the 13th for the pay. I agreed. I showed up to the office at 57W 38th street at 11AM and Michael once again not at work. Peter was there and said he had not heard from him. He did answer my calls and finally called in 4 hours later. He began to get nasty again and told me that it made no sense to go in without calling him again. I could not believe what I was hearing. I knew he knew that I had to be out of my aprtment on the 14th at midnight and he was just makingme sweat. I left work that day. He said he would give it to me the next day. I called and in return I got a text from his girlfreind telling me that I was rude and that Michael is going through a lot and cant do this right now. A few hours later I got a call from him he said he was wiring me the money and an hour later he was going to net pay me. I got the balance of the 30% 4200 USD less $50 for a key to the office hegave me. Hence I had to leave my apartment with all my furniture and take what I could fit in my car.

He is a spitefule person and operates by a code of crush the week. I guess he believes if you work for him and he has your money he will hold it and chissle you down assuming you will do what I am doing right now.
