I was on vacation with my family and we decided to stop at the Marble Slab in Waxahchie, TX. What a big mistake!! My husband went in with my 2 year old son to get ice cream. My first complaint is that they don't even offer a kids size ice cream and we had to order him a small. I understand that it is summer and the temperature has been really warm lately. My husband purchased two small ice creams and paid all of this took less than 5 minutes total. When he walked out to the car one of the small cups of ice cream was more than half way melted all in less than 5 minutes time. I asked him to take it back in a just get another one as I do not like to eat melted ice cream. The lady working who claimed to be the manager said that she wasn't able to do anything. My husband came back to the car and now at this point the ice cream is basically a soupy mess. I told him to just go in and give it back to her. We are traveling and I didn't want ice cream all over the car and at this point it's now dripping everywhere. He walked back in and asked her to give the money back and handed her the ice cream. She quickly grabbed it from him because it was dripping all over the counter. He asked her if she could refund him his money as the ice cream is unable to eat. She told him that she couldn't do that. He asked if he could talk to the manager and she claims to be the manager. He then asked her if he could have the number to the corporate office and she proceeds to tell him it is on the website. I ended up paying for a product that I never even got to eat. This is absolutely ridiculous. The lack of care and customer service that we received today is unreal the customer is always right! I guess the location is hurting for money and obviously doesn’t keep the freezers cold enough to actually keep the ice cream frozen. I will be getting my money back one way or another for what was done to me today and not because I am in desperate need for $10. But on principle alone
