Hello and first off let me say it takes a lot to get me upset, but this was plenty. After reading the other review I am sure the problem is mostly his son Will who I heard is forced to work there by his father because he keeps getting into trouble with the law. With that being said I'll continue.
I took my car in with several problems, a warning light about coolant, an odd noise in one hub, and a few other minor things. The Car over heated so I figured (after asking around for a trustworthy mechanic ) I had to take it in.
Marc comes out and I give him my list, he pops out this tiny little flash-lite and looks for literally ten seconds and says "it's your water pump, that'll be about $300.00 dollars. with the other stuff you're looking at around $550.00 plus tax." Begrudgingly I tell him fine and give him my keys.
Later he calls and says it'll be about $600.00 all together and will be done by the end of the day.
Okay, first off he fix's the warning lite by simply unhooking it, he did this in front of me. Fine no big deal, he says the rest is fixed and off I go, broke now, but at least happy my car is fixed.
The next day it's out of water again and over heating. I thought WTF! he just fixed that. Well apparently that wasn't the problem. It ended up being a small leak somewhere that Bar's leak patched with just one application. Still not that upset, I justify it as "at 66 thousand a new water pump isn't the worst thing in the world to have. Then, while checking the leak I noticed a 4 inch long dent on the fender on the same side that I needed a hub replaced, right about where a floor jack would bang it if it didn't lower all the way or the tire bars on the lift that fold in and out.. Now I'm starting to get upset because until then my car had not a single dent. Knowing how the "burden of proof" works I know it is pointless to take it back to these, what I now know are incompetent people.
To make it worse, I'm guessing when he told me his son took it for a ride that his son had sticky fingers because all my loose change and my Garmin were missing from my center council.
All in all these people are scam artists and thieves. DO NOT TAKE YOUR CAR HERE PLEASE! The owner is a rather large and intimidating man that will never admit his or his crook sons wrong doings.
