According to well placed sources, Mark Birnbaum and his nightclub/restaurant company the EMM group LLC, which is the owner of SL, Catch, Finale, Abe & Arthurs, STK, Tenjune, Chandelier Room, and other NYC Meatpacking District venues, is currently being investigated by the New York State Division of Human Rights, the EEOC, the NY Department of Labor, and the US Department of Justice for racist door policies and unlawfully discriminating against dark skinned racial minorities and people over the age of 35.
Furthermore our sources also advise that Mark Birnbaum and the EMM Group LLC are upon information and belief under investigation by the New York FBI, NY Department of Investigation, Drug Enforcement Agency, and Manhattan Vice Squad for underage prostitution, drug trafficking, murder for hire, and other links to organized crime.
