Obviously uneducated response on the subject of con-man Moskal. The incident in question is where Marks people awarded the other guy almost a grand for a bump that didnt even scratch my scions plastic bumper! For a bump that happened in bumper to bumper traffic where even my friend in law enforcement said I was had by a salesman. Angry, yes! If you were lied to and grossly over charged, i expect you would be too! My insurance rate almost doubled, Mark offered no help so I shopped around for another agent. Soon after, I found an agent who insured me for $10 less a month than my original rate thru Mark with 12x (yes twelve times!!!) better coverage. Mark doing what he does best (I assume, it is his career) was a blessing in disguise because I am far better taken care of now and wouldn't recommend Marks services to anyone who works for a living. Go to Country Companies if you want real treatment. My whole family and several friends have since switched from allstate to country companies and for good reason. Get your moneys worth, you work for it!

I was in an accident that wasn't my fault. The woman did $10,500 worth of damage to my car. She had crappy insurance so allstate and Mark stepped up and got it done. The first question he asked was if everyone was okay. He made calls and within the hour of impact I had a rental car that I didn't pay a red cent for. Mark assured me this would be made right and that I'd either get my car fixed or if it was totaled I would get a brand new one (thanks to new car replacement). He gave me EXTRA discounts because my dad has multiple policies. When push came to shove Mark went to bat for me. When the repairs took longer than a month, he got an extension for my rental. When my car came back to me in less than perfect condition (paint wise) he gave the place an earful. My car runs beautifully thanks to allstate and Mark. Whenever I had a problem with anything he did what he needed to do to make things right. When I first got my brand new car he called me to tell me he could get me better insurance for cheaper.

As an insurance agent, there may have been things Mark could have done for you which would have made the situation better, but keep in mind that an agent does not have control over your claim. The agent also does not set your rates. From the information you have provided, I am not sure what Mark could have done to make your situation better, other than supplying you with better coverage. Allstate most likely removed discounts and surcharged your policy due to your claim. Each insurance company will rate a policy differently, so it sounds like you found a better policy for yourself. I do think you are going very hard on your former agent for things probably not in his control.

I am writing in regards to a comment made about my insurance agent. I happened upon the post while looking for his office address and felt that the writer was angry, abusive and inappropriately describing a good agent.
I was involved in an accident, my first, and I was at fault. I was nervous and did not know what to expect. He and his staff helped me get through the ordeal easily and without any additional stress. He was professional, honest and supportive.
The writer of the previous comment seems to not want to accept accountability for his accident. No matter how fast or slow you are moving, if you hit a car from behind, you are at fault. Also, if his vehicle suffered no damage, why would he be responsible for his deductible? If he believes his new agent was honest about what could have been done he is a bit green since a rear hit is your fault. Stop being angry, accept accountability and move on. You had an accident that was not fatal, no injuries and you are here to whine about causing it.
