I had a contract with this lady and her daughter for wedding photography for September 8 2007 but I was not available so I sent another photographer to render services for the entire day. The contract was never canceled but they wanted all the money back right after the wedding even though the contract was serviced and the photographer was there all day. I heard later that he was harassed by some members of the bridal party and recv'd threats but stayed anyway. Mary and Melissa Galea then harassed me for several weeks making a malicious police report and filed a complaint with the BBB, posting defamatory remarks on the internet. Months of false accusations, embellished statements, and misleading information with the intent to harm my reputation and frighten brides away from my business. She then posted a ripoff report last week but they never went to small claims court but rather made threats and extortion to get all the money back. She wants you to think the photographer kept 75% of the wedding photos and that we stole her money. Truth is they recv'd a 50% discount up front and were not happy with 75% of the photos. No business renders services and gives al the money back - that is stealing. Theft is not justified even if the person you expect to photograph your wedding is not there but another person is there to render the extact service you paid for. We had legal and contractual rights to keep that money for the services given. The photographer gave them every image on a double-layer DVD including rights to print. This lady is nothing but a complusive liar and I have all the proof I need.
