I've been a member several times with Massage Envy at several clinics. It's all about what you initial and sign. Just make sure to get copies of everything. They are legal documents. For example, you can't just tell them to cancel your membership. It needs to be their form and signed by you (again, ask for a copy). If you don't fill out that cancellation form, they can keep charging you monthly because of the original agreement you signed and initialed. Things that confused me were that you can not cancel in your initial term...you have to wait until you are on a month-to-month basis after that term....but..it's all there in writing in the agreement I signed. I know you had a bad experience, but I love the Draper location. They have really really good therapists! And they have some new front desk staff that make me laugh (in a good way). If I could afford it in these hard times I'm personally having, I would never cancel my membership!

You seem to know all the ins and outs. Ever heard of extortion? Many police departments take it very seriously.

tell them you are going to file a complaint with the local police against their permit that you were offered sex, see how fast they back down
