                                                             My Online Business Empire Disaster

-On February 3, 2014 I paid $1997 to Matt Lloyd Publishing for MOBE basic membership.

-On February 10, 2014 I paid the first of four monthly installments of $6600 to Matt Lloyd Publishing (MOBE) for two products; Platinum and Titanium.  However, I realized the next day that I had not received access to Platinum. I emailed Max Aria, the person who took my payment originally and explained the situation to him, two days later he emailed back saying that he took care of it and Platinum was now set up.

-On February 2014 I logged in and saw that I still did not have access to Platinum. I emailed customer service on February 15th and told them I couldn't access Platinum and they responded on February 16th stating that there was no record of a payment for Platinum membership. I emailed them back promptly to inform them that Max Aria processed the payment and receipt. I received no response back.

-From February 16th thru February 20th I emailed customer service, Max Aria and the MOBE Facebook page in an attempt to resolve the issue. No one responded back and so on February 21 I submitted the first of three disputes (the payments were charged to three separate cards).

-Several hours after the dispute was filed, MOBE customer service emailed me back to say they found the payment for Platinum membership and have now granted me access. However by that time I wanted nothing to do with this company.

SUMMARY:

-I did not receive access to the product until after I filed a bank dispute (11 days post payment date).

-It should also be noted that due to the monthly billing cycle consideration, the company ended up issuing me new contracts on February 28 to be signed for both Titanium and Platinum memberships. I did not sign these contracts and I currently do not have access to the products.

-The two credit card companies recovered the charges ($4999 total) due to the facts that- 1. Matt Lloyd Publishing (MOBE) violated the terms of service by not delivering the product when payment was made, therefore their 72 hour refund policy did not apply. 2. The lack of communication back from customer service/ not responding to my emails. 3. The two re-issued and unsigned Titanium and Platinum contracts rendered the original contracts null and void.

-The third card, a debit card, the Bank Claims Department requested of Matt Lloyd Publishing (MOBE) that the charges be refunded to the card ($3598), which Matt Lloyd Publishing (MOBE) refused to do.

-After 90 days the bank closed the case and said I would need to request a refund from the merchant myself. Their reasoning for this was, according to them the updated contracts, even though unsigned by me, were electronic therefore they didn't count. And due to company’s 72 hour refund policy, even though the products were not delivered until after the dispute was submitted (11 days after payment), the bank did not consider this as violating the terms of service. That's when I realized I had been Mobed.

NOTE:

-I attempted  to contact Matt Lloyd first unsuccessfully, then on February 27 he responded to my Facebook message. I told him of my negative experience and that I wanted to speak with him directly in an effort to straighten things out, so that I could feel better about the company and reconsider promoting MOBE.

-He said that he would have someone look into it and get back to me. I told him I did not want to talk with anyone else, that his customer service was nonexistent. He was curt and disinterested, saying it was possible that but that he's very busy with a business to run. Therefore I did not bother him further, and knew I couldn't represent him or his company.

-After 3 months and a closed dispute, I felt it was important to let people know what I've been through. However, I thought that contacting Matt Lloyd one more time before doing so would be right thing to do. On both May 26th and 27th I contacted Matt Lloyd to request that he rectify the situation that so that we can resolve this with a win/win. As of May 31st (my birthday!), I have still received no response.*

*Email exchange, FB mssgs and contracts referenced above provided on request

AS AN ASIDE:

Prior to signing up for Titanium and Platinum, during the first several Skype sessions Drew Trainor explained to me that Max Aria was a $90,000/mo. earner within the company who would also be my traffic coach and close the first couple of sales for me with me on the phone. This turned out not to be the case, Max Aria's main role was to sign me up for Titanium and Platinum, as Max later clarified. Mobed again.

Hi Max, this is Nikki Sturn. I joined your organization because I was told you earn 90k+ per month, would be personally training me and closing my first several sales with me on the phone as part of that training.

You took my credit card info to sign me up, wished me luck then removed me from your Skype list after telling me that no, you don't do the training. We ended up having a very heated email exchange and luckily I finally ended up recouping every penny of my nearly 4k I spent to join.

One of the reasons I won the case was your company falsified the login reports they sent to my bank. They showed what appears to be over 100 logins when in actuality there were 15. I was able to technically prove this.

Play dumb all you want but it does not make your company a legitimate outfit. I filed a report with the FTC when this originally happened and if you haven't heard from them by now I am confident you will at some point with all the complaints against this company you help run.

Falsified paperwork sent to bank, verified and obtained

I am adding this information to the original report because upon request, I have obtained the following paperwork from the bank for verification-

The third card, a debit card, the Bank Claims Department requested of Matt Lloyd Publishing (MOBE) that the charges be refunded to the card ($3598), which Matt Lloyd Publishing (MOBE) refused to do. Matt Lloyd sent the bank a falsified log-in history with nearly 100 log-ins, claiming it was mine. However, I had actually logged on to the site approximately 10-15 times in total and had even said in the email exchange with customer service that I've barely logged on since joining.
