This owner is a piece of work(garbage) the shop is a Steamfitter 638B shop, and Chris Cox got caught by his techs not keeping up with the monthly medical benefits payed to the Union.the techs(that were in the union) recently received cancellation notices on their union bennys, and when they went to the union hall latter in the day were fired from the company owner Chris Cox.Previously to that a lead tech along with others were let go because their trucks weren't washed. This happened at a meeting where Chris Cox collected all the keys from the techs, had them put post-it-notes on each key with their names on them, and returned and went around the room on why and why not they weren't washed, the guys who skipped a washing were told to leave the room(as in fired).here is the garbage part...one guy stood in the parking lot outside not knowing what to think or do.when another tech told Chris Cox about the tech standing out there...he told the tech to go out and tell him he is fired!I feel sorry for young guys going in there to start in the industry, and thinking this is how the HVAC field is and how owners are...it is not believe me.Chris Cox had the techs install GPS into each of their trucks to be upfront/as in honest with the application to use it,and tracks everybody... everwhere.... anytime,he lies right to your face and will nickel and dime you to death to get jobs done.Gil-Bar Industies is his main source of work, and they sell/represent all types of equipment that contractors install, and with that you never know what you will be sent on with absolutly no support from Chris Cox with the only thing you can count on is his MOUTH!

#2UPDATE EX-employee responds

I'm a former employee of this company. I was told of this report by another former employee. We both have a pretty good idea who the little worm is who wrote it, but not for sure so I won't say. First off could somebody get that guy a tissue and tell him to stop crying. If you did your job you would not have gotton fired. What I will say is that with Chris (the boss) it's his way or your out the door. He is upfront about it, follow company rules. Did'nt understand that when I was fired, but I do now.(maybe someday when this guy grows up he'll get it). P.S it's more than a year later and after working for a 2 other companies that were a complete joke, Ive decided to start my own company(residential). Funny thing is ......with lessons learned.....I'll run it just like Chris.

If the real individual who posted the report would spend as much doing his job as he does making up stories he might still have job. Chris is strict when it comes to his company's appearance(trucks kept clean, which is a simple stop at the car wash that the boss pays for), but it is his company and an important part of keeping up with a professional image. Not to mention those individuals were warned a number of times.( I was warned, but just once ). I can't speak for everyone, but I have always been treated with respect and in turn have nothing but respect for him.

I feel the need to set the record straight. I am Ravi M and I did not file any report. Since I worked with the individual filing this report (whoever it really is) it's sad that they have so much to say and not enough courage to sign their own name to it. (That should give some insight to the type of worker he is.) I'm very happy here and have always been treated fairly. Some people simply don't like to follow company rules and suffer the consequences. RAVI M
