I have become highly disappointed in the Customer Service that I have received over the past week from Maytag. It started when my fridge began clicking throughout the day. I figured that it would stop after a couple of days.

Well it has been about 17 days now, and there is no end in sight. I reviewed many other reviews online, and it appears that this issue has been going on for some time now, with no solution. I called Maytag about this concern. The first young employee told me that I would get a call back from a team that the subordinates  send these request to within 5-7 business days. That request was on a Monday.

I noticed that the fridge began to lose some of it's temperature because the ice dispencing flap was opening and closing. I called in a second time the following Thursday. This employee stated that someone will be calling me within 24-48 business hours.  Again....no follow-up.  I take the time out of my day to call them a third time on the following Monday. Again I am told that i will have a follow up within 24-48 hours.

It is now Tuesday night.  Wednesday at 10 AM will make 48 hours.  Have I received a single call back.....No. This "High Valued Fridge" has caused our family to stay up for long periods at night. I have a 5 month old that can hear this fridge on the second story of our home.  Yes....it is that loud.  Would I recommend this fridge to anyone....NO!!!!  Will I let this go.....NO!!!!!!

I have worked in a Call Center setting for 6 years, and would expect someone to be on a corrective action for not following up. I have had 3 different employees tell me that I will have a follow up, yet no resolution.  

What do I expect as a consumer? I want Customer Service. I don't want something that I do not deserve. That is not my motive.  However, I do expect a company to find a way to solve this growing concern that many customers have provided.

What say you Maytag?

I have reached out to Maytag a total of 6 times. I still have not received a call.  I called Friday afternoon looking to finalize the deal to have a new fridge, however, I got a voicemail and never received a call back.  I have waited a total of 2 weeks to hear from Maytag, and have had this concern from 21 days.  I have also had 5 promised calls that have never happened.

I am not sure what to do at this point. We can't keep anything in the fridge without it turning off and on all day.  The ice dispenser flap is staying open, allowing all of the food to spoil. Each item in the freezer and fridge have melted and thawed and then froze again multiple times.  

With the growing concern, why has Maytag not reached out to customers who have these fridges to let them know the concerns?  Why have they been allowed to continue to sell these fridges with no accountability?  Why do the customer service reps not seem to understand the importance othose impact that this causes my family and I? If there was a smoother process, then Maytag would have a higher customer service rating......than what I have seen.

The only response that I have had from Maytag, outside of me calling them, is from Twitter......No help there.  They were asking me to call into customer service to get an answer.  I promise that I will not let this go!!!!!
