McAffe Anti-Virus Software McAfee Rebate Fraud 2013 same as 2005 Santa Clara California
I purchased the McAfee anti virus software instead of Norton as there was a $50 rebate offer. I carefully followed all instructions including putting the original receipt, claim form and code from box inside the folded 8x11 piece of paper inside the envelop I mailed. Six weeks later when I traced my rebate progress they had invalidated my rebate as they claimed I did not include the original receipt and code from the box! They are frauds and liars. I noticed this is the same fraud problem as reported in 2005. Gee, State of California, why aren't you protecting your consumers from this repeated fraulent practice by McAfee for over 8 years? As an added insult since I complained two days ago about the fraud to the company my software is now going haywire and causing all kinds of problems with my computer while online. McAffe is becoming an internet terrorist.
