Complaint Review: Mcclain Brothers - Internet

First let me start by saying not only will She mislead you and get you to pay the application fee but her broker doesn't care how she speaks to potential clients, as soon as you get the not approve, she will ignore you, Its all about money.

I saw a listing through Rent Sounce Inc regarding a home for rent, $895 a month, $895 deposit, There is 3 adults and 3 kids potentially looking for a new home. BEFORE i applied, i asked the real estate agent Catherine, about the requirements, She was Soo sweet to me, She explained $2600 required income a month, credit check but if everything else is a positive as far as background, criminal, income, rental history, they will forget the credit as that is the reason i am renting is because i cannot buy at this time. I explained to her my credit was bad due to past due credit card bills from 3 years ago. She again stated that it wasn't an issue if everything else comes back positive, I proceeded, Took 3 applications to her office, $85 fee to do so, She said she would have a response in 48  hours, I called my Catherine in 48hours who then tells me she will call me right back, NO CALL BACK.

The next day i called Catherine back who tells me she is busy and i can call her back in 15 minutes, returned her call than, no Answer!.That gave me the red flag there that maybe something was wrong, I called back 40 minutes later when she answered the phone, she told me that my income was unverifiable, my rental history is unverifiable, and my crediy is sooo bad, she wouldn't consider renting to anyone who doesn't pay their bills, Well i have 100% payment history on my credit but when my husband almost died, i stopped paying on the credit card, so i could put food on my table but that isn't the issue, MY INCOME was verified through my place of employment as i spoke with HR and I spoke with my real estate agency now who says it was verified so where is the issue again!? Credit, because i am pretty sure you just told me several times that it wouldn't be an issue as long as the information comes back good. I politely asked her to revise the information. She hung up,. I called her right back, no answer, i left her a message telling her i needed her managers information, She never called back< i called back again, she answered" I asked for her managers name in which she said she had no manager, and than asked for Rental Leasing Company's name and number, she said I DON"T HAVE THE NUMBER AND AT THIS POINT I DON'T GIVE A SH*T," YOU DON'T PAY YOUR F*CKING BILL, I DO! I WON'T RENT TO YOU, YOU ARE A F*CKING B*TCH! AND HUNG up!

I have never heard of such a rude realistate agent. I wasn't rude to her, i was just applying for a home. So i called KEITH MCCLAIN, who tells me her heard the conversation, she never said anything rude and he wouldn't rent to me either because of my old past bad credit, YAH i get that  but the point of me calling him was to let him know, they RIPPED me out of $85,  I told her soo  many times, that my credit was bad and i didn't want to waste time or money and she kept telling me that if everything was positive in which it is!, than they will consider it, but that isn't the case, SHE was very rude and i would like to report this small company, i don't believe anyone who has been denied due to credit should the credit be thrown back up in the potential clients face or called out side of the name. He was RUDE and She was RUDE and apparently they are some money grubbing scam artist who tell inocent potential tenants that they can get them approve after they get the money, it is a different story! Thanks for praying on my family, Oh yeah, i just got custody of a downsyndrome child, she knew this as this is the reason we are moving, plus when i handed in my app she distaunted that was only 23, discrimination or what? Please help, who can i report her to, Attorney general, this is a BAD company.
