Complaint Review: McHenry Medical Office - Modesto California

 The worst clinic in the world. My first visit, I was about 3 months pregnant. I waited about an hour before being seen. The doctor who is now retired as of last week did not listen our care about my health concerns or questions. She was in and out, in comes a nurse gives me two shots and a TB test and walks out. I think everything is fine, as soon as I start top leave I hear "don't let her leave"so I walk back, and the nurse has the nerve to tell me "oops I gave you the wrong shot" very unprofessional and rude. They then tell me I got a hepatitus vaccination that is not supposed to be given to pregnant women but not to worry. I leave and go home.

Next morning wake up with chills, sweating, and a fever of 104. I couldn't stop vomiting and got taken to the hospital. After given medication and IV's I was sent home. My next visit I told them what happened, they did not care and told me "it's not our fault". Again very ride. Literally every appintment I've made, they call me leaving me a voicemail saying they went ahead and changed my appintment, not thinking about my personal schedule with work, my daughter, and other arrangements. Every time it was something else, mixing up charts and papers.

This last visit was unbelievable.. I waited an hour and a half past my appintment time untilmy daughter was fussy and I was tired because the night before I was hospitalized for an infection they did not detect! I thought it was delicious and I was just going to leave, I started to walk out and the nurses started laughing and kept repeating "you can't wait or what" again, rude, unprofessional attitude like always. The nurses are very illiterate and just sit around laughing and texting. 3 nurses sitting and chatting and not working.

I explained to the nurses I wasn't feeling well,I was in the hospital the night before, my daughter and I were hungry, and it was an hour and a half past my set appintment time. I then told the heavy set hispanic nurse who is always on her phone, that the hospital last night told me to report them for not diagnosing me properly, and for resting my appointments so I can never attend my appointments. She, and two other nurses sitting around start laughing and one says "ooooooookay" I then see the doctor finally come. Since I badly needed to be seen I went back in the room. This new doctor opens the for, does not walk in and says to me "are you mad?" I reply "yes, I'm a little upset because..."

Before I can finish my sentence she says loudly while putting her arms up in the air with an angry tone "well I'm not going to see you! You can go somewhere else!" And tells me to get out. I'm shocked of the negative behavior in this clinic, so when I walk out ask for a copy of the tests and shots I have received, she refuses to give me one, and then once a assure her she can, the heavy set nurse then tells me I have to pay a large fee. I then request to speakto the supervisor who brought to my attention the wrong shot and hospitalizations were not written in my chart. She was professional and nice, and asked me to stay to just get checked out because of my bad health.

She then brings in the new doctor who does a complete 180 when the supervisor is present. I agree, I stay, get checked. The doctor who claimed she caused the hour and a half wait (which after waiting and complaining actually took 3 hours) was because she thoroughly seesher patients and takes time...she spent about 3 minutes with me, prescribed me a medication which I was told was going to be called in and ready at my local Walgreen pharmacy. I stood at the desk back with the heavy set nurse waiting for her to ask what days and times I could come in, she tells me to sit down that it will be a while.

After waiting twenty minutes she calls me back up and hands me three appointments. I then say "I need to schedule in the morning on Thursdays or Mondays" "she then says to me rolling her eyes and throwing the appintment papers my way "oh well that's all they got" I looked at my daughter and husband and my husband was shocked ather rude, sloppy, ghetto demeanor. I grab the papers and leave, when I get in the car I see a number of the top of one of the papers I call and reschedule myself, for the same day appointed just morning... I then drive to my pharmacy and of course my prescription was never sent...
