Letter dated July 7th,08...Came September 9th,08 stating I won a lottery from January 29th,2007.
Enclosed is a check for $3,950.00 from 1st International Bank, Plano, TX who informed me that the check is fradulent and that they have reported it to authorities.
There is a real Malone Development Group, LTD.by Shelley Malone Custom Builder, Inc. NOT IN FRISCO,TX...DALLAS,PLANO AREA.
The letter announced the winning Lotto sum of $270,000 and the check is deducted from winning amt.
Claims agent named: Chris Neto
GST Goverment Service Tax Amt $2950.00
to be paid by money gram
The letter is Signed Tony Samson, but the signature is illegable and on the check the signature looks artificial.

It certainly seems like Ms. Evelyn from Marble Falls is a victim of fraud, and I am sorry to hear that, however, before reacting to her personal bad situation she should have contacted the Malone group to see what was going on. I know first hand that Shelley Malone Custom Builder's, the company was a victim of bank fraud and not only did it hurt 100's of people because they were scammed, but it also hurt Mr. Malone's business. The bank and FBI, both are on top of this fraud. My point is do your due diligence before reacting on the internet. All comments last forever, true or false.

A group of individuals that appear to be out of Canada someway somehow obtained one of our bank account numbers. On or around the first of July 2008 we started receiving calls asking about some sweepstakes winnings. Our bank, 1st International, Plano, Texas, 972-578-7777 asked that we come in and close that bank account since someone was illegally mailing out checks on that account. We have had calls from all over the country from people that received these fraudulent checks. Some people have called us direct and expressed their desire to help us. Some vented frustration at us as though we were responsible? Some even contacted our local Better Business Bureau (they new it was a scam at the BBB). The problem has been turned over to fraud dept of the bank. We hope that these checks will soon stop being mailed out and also hope that no one else has to go through this unfortunate fraudulent activity. Thank you, S. H.
