meatydelivery.com Disgusting Door to Door Steaks Internet
A perfectly nice guy and crafty salesperson named Trae came to my door, citing that he services repeat business for steaks in my area.
Having been completely unimpressed by Omaha Steaks, KC Steaks and the other awful frozen steak companies, I met him with total skepticism.
He gave me his personal guarantee that these were different. I negotiated a small sample to the tune of $50 for a box of 4 NY Strips and about 8 of some unidentifiable tenderloin variation.
He piled on all kinds of somewhat convincing stories about being a supplier for John Elways restaurants, and that he can get "the good stuff" on occasion. So I gave it a try.
Immediately I went inside and cooked one of the steaks and it was disgusting. Terrible. I doubt that this is even beef. It's gelatinous, overly salty, and generally gross. I would MUCH rather eat frozen ground beef from a low budget grocery store. It may be horse meat.
Do not buy this meat under ANY circumstances.

I still have trouble imagining what circumstances would entice me to buy dubious cuts of meat from a stranger off the back of a truck. You really have no idea what you're buying (and ingesting).
