I've worked at this Meijer store for almost 2 years now, and the people who they hired last week make $0.10 less per hour than me. That's ridiculous and I'm going to talk to the union about it. They wonder why they can't keep employees.
Meijer treats their employees worse than Wal-Mart, and we all know Wal-Mart is guilty of breaking several labor laws on a regular basis! What does that say for Meijer?
I do not shop at Meijer. I tell customers I'm not happy about the job because I get treated like dirt by management. If I didn't need the money I'd flip off my boss and quit in a heartbeat.
Meijer is hell.

You do not need to live this way!
Get out and apply for every job you think you can do.
Aim high, a big step up from where you are
Send out at least 50 Resumes a week until you get an offer!
All minimum wage, low pay and abused workers should do this, look for something you want to do, something you can excell at. There is something better out there FOR YOU.
When you walk out of Meijer for the last time, smile and tell your boss he is the one that convinced you look for better and thank him.
Laugh your a** off all the way hame.
