Customers suv towed in (no start) in Jan 2008 (3 years ago). Diagnosed by ASE techs as fuel pump failure. Replaced fuel pump with A C Delco pump with 1 year warranty.Replaced pump and engine started fine and still starts fine 3 years later. Customer drove out (not towed) with running vehicle. Customer has other drivability issues and blames fuel pump. Checked in 2010 still has required fuel pressure at that time. Customer has a 10 year old vehicle and must realize that she may have to spend money for maintenance/tune-ups and other issues that may arise. Our diagnostics were correct and our repairs were good. Warranties are there to protect customers as well as businesses. Sorry we will miss her business just as well..

I took it to Chevrolet and they confirmed that it was the fuel pump and I paid $98 for a diagnostics to only confirmed what I already knew. **** Did you miss the part about me going back 13 months later with the same ( fuel pump issue)........... And yes I drove around for 2 years with a defective (aftermarket fuel pump)......... It is being repaired today and being fixed right this time by a reputable mechanic... I will never ever use MEINEKE ever again..they couldn't put air in my tire.

So according to your report you have been driving around with a bad fuel pump for 3 years?
You also only talk about having them check out your car. You mention Chevrolet but say that you only "spoke" with them. At any time during this 3 year period have you ever gotten a "second opinion" about the "defective" fuel pump.
