Melanie cox hooker has sold me a $3000 computer but never delivered, claims a 3rd party shipper has sent it out. provieded false tracking numbers, still did not receive. i requested a refund.
bought in august 2006, current january 12/2007, no refund yet, not a single dollar. she tells me the delays are due to her family sickness, spider bite, husbands tumor, etc etc.
she has told both squaretrade and department of consumer affiars south carolina that i will get my money within the next few weeks (early december)
nada.
i think there are 3 other victims involved too..
This is the last of hundreds of emails taht i received from her describing her "difficulties"
Johnson, I do understand and I do know I owe you the money, I do have some of it and was waiting on a check to go into my account for 4500.00. I have been waiting so patiently for it, and I need the difference to pay some medical bills. I am not trying to run from you I promise. It's just that having that amount of money lying around just doesn't happen. I was taken advantage of ....and I am being punished for it. I Am So Sorry for everything. It was my fault in trusting someone and I have certainly learned a lesson.....And no I don't want it to go any further....I don't.....I have an appointment at the tax office tomorrow to see if maybe I can borrow against my husbands tax refund to get you your money. So you nor I will have to wait on the other to be deposited. You have been more than patient. You seem to be a nice person, so I promise you will get your money, I know you have heard this before, but I will. And again it was suppose to be to me by the 9th so that is why I was thinking it would all be taken care of by now. I will make sure to notify you as to what I find out from the tax service. And what I can do to get it to you as fast as possible. If they do allow me to borrow, I am sure it will be a check. That is why I was thinking if I deposit it tomorrow it will show up in my bank by Sat. and then I could get you 3 money orders for
1000.00 each, and send it overnight. That way you will have it.....But let me see what I find out tomorrow. And I will be in touch. I did get your message this morning. I must have been in the bed when you called, again just bare with me, I am trying, and you will get your money. PLEASE? Just a little longer.....It will all be over. Thanks again......Melonie

AFTER MULTIPLE COMMUNICATION CONVERSATIONS WITH MELANIE COX HOOKER, I WAS FINALLY PAID MY 3000 THAT SHE OWES ME FOR THE REFUND BACK FROM AUGUST. DONE DEAL, SHE FINALLY DEPOSITED CASH IN MY BANK ACCOUNT. THAT IS ALL.

still waiting for the refund, ive given her a last dead line of 2/12/07... she first claims: 1) i have not received the tax refund for my husband yet, there was errors in the application so it is taking longer than i expected 2) i tried taking a lien on my husbands truck, but since he was out of work for the past few months they bank wouldnt give it to him. 3) i dont like to bring other ppl into my business so i dont want to ask my family for money. so... would her family rather lend her some money, or would her family rather visit her in a jail cell? we will see on monday...

Read the other reports on her... She should be suspended from Ebay for ripping people off thousands of dollars!!! Why isn't she??? Yes take her to judge Judy, I will back you up on this one. Let everyone in America know what a liar and a thief she really is. She should have been suspended a long time ago and I can't wait untill justice is served. Melonie and her daugter also has a My Space account, I know it is the same Melonie Hooker from Pelzer SC because the picture that she used to have on Ebay is on there and it is the same Melonie. Her ugly daughter is on there braging that she is a model and an actress and I know that is a lie. She is also on another formum trying to get people to hire her so that she can act in a part in a play or movie, etc. What a laugh!!! :-) You can view Melonie's account or her dauhgters but going to www.myspace.com/melonie hooker. Her account is set to private but you can email her there and view her picture without accessing the account. Her daughters account is not set to private and you can view all of her profile, pictures, etc. I thought about emailing her daughter and letting her know what I thought about her mom, but I didn't. By the way, Melonie looked high on drugs in the picture at My Space... She was in a bar wearing a cowboy hat with her slutty (freak) looking daughter was with her.

AFTER READING THIS REPORT ON THIS WOMAN I CHECKED HER OUT ON EBAY! I WAS SHOCKED AT THE HIGH POSITIVE EBAY SCORE! I FEEL EBAY IS LACKING ANY MANY AREAS BESIDES THIS ONE. ONE OTHER AREA BESIDES THIS ONE IS THE OUTRAGOUS SHIPPING CHARGE SOME SELLERS ARE ALLOWED TO CHARGE! THIS IS A RIPOFF IN ITSELF! I FEEL FOR YOU FOLKS WHO HAVE BEEN TAKEN, I DONT THINK I COULD SIT STILL IF THIS HAPPENED TO ME. I WOULD GET MY MONEY EVEN IF IT MEANT TAKING HER TO COURT. EBAY CANT PROTECT HER FROM THAT.
