While I know who the person is that purchased this puppy, the person that filed this complaint is obviously not her. This puppy in question was also given a complete exam by my vet before it was shipped and given a clean bill of health. New puppy owners are required to take their puppy to the vet within the first 3 days of arrival. This was not done.
The new owner of this puppy did contact me almost 2 wks latter after she got this puppy and told me that the puppy tested for parvo virus. (Please keep in mind you can get a false positive on a parvo test if a puppy has been vaccinated, and it had been vaccinated) I asked for medical documentation, I never got it. I asked for follow up information, I never got it. I still had other puppies from the same litter and contacted other puppy owners who got pups from the same litter and everyone else's puppies were fine.
While I do not warranty for anything puppies can catch, as puppies can catch things at any point and this is out of my control. I warranty for anything that can be construed as a genetic problem for a full year.
At some point taking care of puppies that people purchase is out of my control and in the new owners control. I can not keep puppies from contracting things they can catch once they leave my kennel.
This reporting agency should be shut down as it never asks for facts, documentation, or any proof of what was said, not said, contracted, or not contracted. They then want you to pay them to make the report 'go away'.
My warranty and my personal contact with each puppy person is very clear that once the puppy leaves me anything it catches is out of my control.
It would be like delivering a baby at the hospital on January 3, taking baby home January 5 and then blaming the hospital for the baby getting sick on January 17th.
If you would please take the time to read the buyer reviews on my website in my guest book on the first page, which have each persons email address (there are over 100 entries in my guest book) you will see that my reputation speaks for itself and that at some point things are out of my control.
I would also like to add that I have not had anything contract or have the parvo virus in my kennel in over 15 years! A fact my veterinarian can vouch for.
Thank you for taking the time to read this rebutal!
