Melody And Ron Gravitt kitchen breeder sold me a very sick dog almost died spent thousands of dollars to save her life Talihina Oklahoma
PLEASE READ THIS
I was ripped off by melody and my poor puppy has been through so much suffering i contacted melody about a teacup poodle i saw of hers on puppyfind.com she was very prompt in getting back to me and very curtious and seemed genuinely nice
i ended up buying the puppy and i flew out to oklahoma to get her when i met her at the airport i was utterly disgusted by what i saw not only was she and her children extremely dirty but my poor little puppy was a complete mess she was covered in fleas loaded with earmites worms and had pnuemonia
melody had no papers for the puppy and when i asked her for them she said that the vet was mailing them to me 2 weeks went by and i contacted melody about the papers and she said she got them back in the mail asked for my address again and said she would mail them out another month goes by and i do receive anything nor will melody answer any of my emails
so i had to start to make complaints and let her know all the actions i am taking
when i told her of my puppy after only having her for 6 days was rushed to the hospital and in the critical care unit in an oxygen cage for 10 days with a 24 hour nurse at her side because she was that touch and go because of pnuemonia she said it was my fault that the dog got sick
i could only imagine how many other puppies have died or were sold in this aweful condition for the first 5 days of my puppy being in the hospital the doctors kept asking me in the most kind and apologetic way if i wanted to make arrangements or at least consider it because there was a large possibility that my puppy would not make
i am happy to say she did make it but thousands upon thousands of dollars later and all her suffering and melody has the nerve to say it was my fault
please please please stay clear of these people and if anyone knows of a way to possible please shut them down i would love to know so i can do something about this or help aid someone else

A friend spent $1600 on a chihuahua for her mother a few months ago...paying by money order and personal check to Melody Gravitt. It was supposed to be a tiny teacup and AKC registered. Months went by...nothing. My friend was frustrated and kept emailing, asking what was going on...later she actually saw the photo of the puppy she PAID for still online after she had already sent money. She found others that had been ripped off also so she was really worrying...Melody had many excuses, including her mother died, etc. her son is sick... Perhaps after a few threats of calling the sheriff and wanting a refund, all of a sudden she agreed to send a puppy...It was not the one in the photo, it was one advertised for $750 and it arrived vomiting and seizing up...My friend thought it was hypoglycemic. THE VET GAVE HER THE BAD NEWS: THE DOG HAD PARVO. It died three days after she received it. The vet said the parvo came from Melody's facility as the incubation period is alot longer than three days...and it arrived sick already. Now my friend has to worry about her daughter's puppy getting PARVO as it had been exposed to the chihuahua that Melody sent that had the disease. Her daughter's puppy is young and only had 2 boosters and not the third...it's immune system is still weak. We are keeping our fingers crossed that this baby doesn't get it. It is my belief and others, too, that Melody sent the puppy knowing that it had been exposed to the disease...that's probably why she didn't send the original puppy that my friend paid for. If that was the case, she should have returned the money and told her, sorry, the dog got sick and died. Instead, she tells lies and leads others on... I'm sure her dogs are living on the brink and are not in good shape by the stories I've heard. She needs to have her pets confiscated by the authorities~~ NUMBER ONE: TO PROTECT THEM and SAVE THEIR LIVES! NUMBER TWO: TO KEEP THEM FROM BEING PAWNS IN HER SCAMMING GAMES. Oklahoma doesn't regulate puppymills like hers. Last I heard, the sheriff's dept. had turned her into the FBI for Internet FRAUD. Also, my friend received NO AKC PAPERS FOR THE DOG as promised. I'm sure, like Melody told Ricardo the pneumonia his dog came with was HIS fault, she'll probably tell my friend the PARVO was HER FAULT. SHE'S A DISGRACE AND DOESN'T NEED TO HAVE PETS...if she treats her fellow man in this manner, she'd definitely treat the four legged creatures without a voice worse. SHE'S A VERY IRRESPONSIBLE PERSON...probably doesn't even vaccinate or register these dogs as she says. We've already found out she has a felony record of grand larceny under her maiden name and one felony charge was "exploitation by a caretaker." Too bad my friend didn't do a little research beforehand.
