Meltini Kitchen & Bath Had the displeasure of recently working with this company. Actually, we never reached the working stages, but I'd like to share with you how they handle themselves. . Fort Lauderdale Florida
Following a quote from Tommy to replace our counter-tops and back-splash, my wife and I did our due diligence and wanted to get another quote. Seems fair, correct? We were recommended to go and meet with ARS, which we did and received a quote. It wasn't apples-to-apples in terms of the scope of the job, but nonetheless, it was very-very close to the same. The difference in pricing was substantial, so we went back to Tommy and gave him the quote to show him that we were truly being overcharged...by a lot! Tommy took a few days to review and just let me know that being ARS is their contractor for their materials, they never should have quoted us. Additionally, Tommy confirmed that ARS will not work with us in the future and Meltini would not come down on their price! Nice way to work, don't you think? We were not asking Meltini to come down to the pricing of ARS, because we realize they're also project managing our work, but at least offer some sort of discount.
Unfortunately, the company is dishonorable after questioning a quote that was over-inflated. I proved that the prices they gave me where high and when I proved them wrong, they vowed to do nothing with coming down on the price and even explained that the second quote (that I obtained from another party), would not be honored either as this other company does work for them. Stay very, very clear from Meltini!!

The statement above is not providing complete facts or accuracy.
You came into our showroom to do a proper project which included counter top, backsplash and installation. The company that you are stating above that gave you a lower price is one of our vendors that provides services to Meltini Kitchen and Bath. Whether inadvertently or not, you asked to get a quote from our vendor and received a lower price. The facts that you are NOT listing in your accusations above are that our quote to you included DEMOLITION, DRYWALL REPLACEMENT, BACKSPLASH TILE WITH INSTALL, PLUMBING AND ELECTRICAL. Meltini also advised and quoted your project correctly and legally with permitting fees. You made it very clear that you did not want to pull any permits to save money, hence the additional costs listed above that you are accusing Meltini Kitchen and Bath for.
It is highly unethical that you are willing to blemish our company that has been in business for over 15 years and have impeccable standings within our community and industry all because you were not satisfied with your quote.
Meltini Kitchen and Bath has always conducted work with the highest standards in the industry. Our ethics and pride would have never allowed us to conduct business in this manner you are accusing us of.
