Okay, my hope has been ignited. My story begins right after I got married just over a year ago. My wife and I saw the John Beck thing and decided to take a look at it. We ordered the T.V. program and a few days after we received it we had another call. The person gave us the whole run down about how they were looking for someone that was motivated to make money and that had the drive to do it and that would be willing to put five hours in a week in order to make huge profits. So I told them that we were but that I would need to talk it over with my wife. They called us the next evening and continued to sell us on what we believed was a win win situation.

I had saved my entire life so that one day I would be able to use it to further benefit our situation. They asked us how much we had saved and I told them that we had about $15,000 saved up. They continued to talk to us about the program and how it would require an investment on our part but that they would guarantee us to make all of it back and more in 60-90 days. So the cost for us was $12,499. We were thrown back at first but we just figured that if we didn't make our money back that we would request a refund. After all they guaranteed that after a couple of transactions we would make it all back and they would make sure of it.

Well it's been a year now and we thought our $12,500 was long gone. I had lost all hope and my wife still gives me smart remarks about out amazing investment. We asked for a refund after it all hit us that it wasn't going to work for us and they told us that there is no way that they could refund our money but that they would give us five more coaching sessions. By then I was so disappointed that the last thing I wanted was more sessions.

So right now my hope is alive again. It still makes me mad to think of how much we forked out. Basically our entire savings. But I have my enrollment paper and what they charged me and m bank statements and so I'm going to send it all in to the Utah Division of Consumer Protection. I hope i can get this resolved. I owe whoever is coaching us all through this to make it happen.

Hey Anonymous, Maybe I didn't explain very well about the enrolment page. I have it but i had also signed it and sent it back. Is that going to make a difference.

Hello, By you mentioning that you still have your unsigned original "Enrollment Confirmation" page, copies of your bank statements, and knowing about the Utah Divison of Consumer Protection in Utah, I am assuming that you have been reading my many detailed refund instruction posts on this site. Am I correct? I only ask that you return to this site and keep us updated on your situation. It gives me great personal satisfaction seeing people get full refunds with my advice. Your $12,499 dollar ammount they charged you based on your available savings angers me. It angers me to see people being charged anywhere from $1,500 to $15,000 for the EXACT same John Beck coaching done by Mentoring of America LLC out of Utah. I too still had my unsigned copy of the "Enrollment Confirmation" page with me. I made a copy of it and sent it in with my complaint form to the Utah Divison of Consumer Protection. You see, Mentoring of America knows that the state of Utah does not consider valid any type of verbal agreement on verbal contracts done over the phone. That's why they send people these "Enrollment Confirmation" pages to sign and return. It's so they have something on paper with your signature on it. Therefore, it was illegal for Mentoring of America to have gone ahead and charged you $12,499 anyway without you siging and returning this "Enrollment Confirmation" page back to them. Even worse is denying you a refund. Your situation perfectly matches my own, except I paid just over $7,000. By you including copies of your bank statements showing the $12,499 charge highlighted, and a copy of the unsigned "Refund Agreement page to your consumer complaint form, it's pretty much guaranteed that you are going to get a refund here within the next 4 weeks or so. Keep up updated please don't forget.
