Tell us has your experience with this business or person been good? What's this?
On September 28, 2005 after a high pressure sales presentation where I was promised extensive assistance and service in real-estate investing, I was told that I would make my small investment of $5410 back in as little as 30 days and they would take me every step of the way. He also said that they would basically do the first transaction for me in order to help me recoup my initial investment. After a few coaching calls I realized that this was not the service that was promised. I had already been almost a month, and the information that they were feeding me off what seemed like a written script was common knowledge, and not what they had originally promised. Soon after my coach stopped calling for our sessions, and after many failed attempts to sell a parcel of land they had sold me, I asked for a refund. They told me to send an e-mail for instructions on how to get a refund. I sent an email, and received no response. Since then I have called many times, left many messages, and sent more emails. Each time getting the run around, being told that someone would return my call and eventually getting nowhere.

This company is guilty of the following:

Sales pitch misrepresented the service, false or unsubstantial claims in advertising

Failure to provide promised assistance or support for products or services

Failure to respond to phone calls or written requests for assistance or support

Failure to honor money-back guarantees.

Failure to honor service under the terms of warranties

Failure to honor refund, exchange ore credit policies.

Sales presentation misrepresented the service

Sales presentation used high pressure methods

Improper or inferior service

This guy deserves all the prison time he and his associates can get. Aside from that, just make copies of his programs and pass them out free to your neighbors and friends. By purchasing the material you bought the rights to do with it what you want just not for profit. So burn away and give them away at parties, Christmas, etc etc. Cheers!

Mentoring of America tells anyone who calls and demands a full refund that they have you recorded on tape agreeing to their terms and conditions. And that therefore they cannot and will not give you your money back. Let me make this perfectly clear to anyone reading this. The state of Utah DOES NOT honor or consider valid ANY VERBAL AGREEMENTS OR VERBAL CONTRACTS, period. So weather you did or did not agree to anything over the phone with Mentoring of America does NOT matter when seeking a refund through the Utah Division of Consumer Protection.

Jordan, I was cheated the same way you where by John Beck's Amazing Profits and Mentoring of America LLC. The also did not want to give me a refund just like you. They do that to everyone. Take a look at this link while it's still up. Mentoring of America got sued again recently. Copy and paste the link below to your brower: www.wkrc.com/mediacenter/?videoId=10945=9 Fill out this complaint form below against Mentoring of America and turn it in. Copy and paste the link below. You might need to paste and copy each line of the link text individually to your browser to see the page: consumerprotection.utah.gov/downloads/complaintform.pdf Only after I filed this consumer complaint form against Mentoring of America with the Utah Divison of Consumer Protection did they give me all my money back. It was more than $7,000 that they cheated me out of. Mentoring of America sent me a hand signed refund check overnight delivery after I did this. A sleasy saleman from the offices of John Beck named JAYDER SALAZAR called me and gave me a fake 100% money back guarantee and a bunch of other fake promises and BS. He coerced me into this garbage by saying what ever he needed to say to me to get me to enroll. After a few coaching calls when it became clearly apperent to me that these coaches where not the professionals I was told they where, and that the info was merely free general public knowlege I could have easily gotten at the library or the internet, I asked for a refund. Of course, they strongly denied my request in a very very rude manner. They told me I could not get my money back no matter what. Also,I never signed and returned the "Enrollment Confirmation" page that they send you and tell you to sign and return to them when you enroll. On it, it lists the price you paid for the program, what you are getting, method of payment, their street address, and a blank line where they want you to sign and date. They still dedided to go ahead and charged me for the program anyway. Then they failed to give me a refund when I asked for it. I made a copy of this page, stapled it to my complaint form, and turned it in. If you still have this "Enrollment Confirmation" page, do the same. Mentoring of America has many other offices throught the state of Utah. Their main corporate office is: Mentoring of America LLC 752 East 1180 South Suite #200 American Fork, Utah 84003 Phone: 877-704-6346 You can use this above address for Mentoring of America on your complaint form, regardless of which of their other offices you are getting coaching from. Jordan, type the words "John Beck Mentoring of America" in the seach box of this website and read through several of the most recent complaints that come up at the top of the page just below yours. People who have gotten refunds like myself have posted all the info about Mentoring of America that you need to know, and how to go about getting your money back. It's all right there for you. Just go read it. In case you are wondering why you paid $5,410 and I paid more than $7,000 for the same exact progam, it's because they determine the price based on how much open credit or finance you tell the sleazy John Beck salesman you have over the phone. The more credit or credit cards you have, the higher they set the price of the program. That's why you will find other people that have paid anywhere from $1,500 to over $15,000 for the same exact thing. That's why you paid $5,410 and I paid over $7,000 for the same thing. It has no set price. It's all based on how much credit or money you have available. It's total BS and it's fraud. The so called coach that you where mislead and coerced into paying thousands of your dollars to learn from, is nothing more than a regular person who looked for a job in the local Utah classifieds. These phony coaches work a job, have a boss, and drive to work each day. They follow scripts and a traning call curriculum to tell you on the phone for 30 minutes each week, what to do. The two phony coaches I had where MICHELLE MOTA and DAVE YATES. Mentoring of America places general help wanted ads in local Utah newspapers such as the Daily Herald to hire these phony coaches. Then you are coerced and mislead by a John Beck salesman into paying thousands of your dollars to learn free general public knowdlege from these phony coaches who are just employees. But the whole time they tell you that they are knowledgeable professionals in real estate. Here is one of their actual local Utah general help wanted ads that I found. General Help Wanted Mentoring of America LLC Real Estate Coaching Inside Sales Hot Buyer leads / No cold calling Call: 877-704-6346 ext 4003 These phony coaches are not the professional, knowledgeable, real estate experts you where told they where. The sleasy John Beck salesman who called you and sold you this garbage knew that you where probably not tape recoding the call. Therefore they know that they can get away with giving you any type of fake money back guarantee or promise to get you to sign up. And that's exactly what they do. They will tell you that you will make back your money in the first 30 days guaranteed ect, ect. They know that later on when you want your money back, you won't be able to prove to anyone that any of those guarantees or promises where made to you by their people. The lowly JAYDER SALAZAR who gave me a fake 100% money back guarantee simply dissapeared afterwards. He gave me a phone number for me to reach him directly, to keep in touch. He would never answer it no matter when I called. Then the phone number became no longer in service. At the end of the day, I got every penny back from Mentoring of America LLC with the help of the Utah Division of Consumer Protection, and inverstigator Mr. Ao Pauga. I hope that you can do the same.
